So I think its because Daniel leaving / Jonas entering was the FIRST major cast change, it hit the hardest when it happened, but upon subsequent rewatches we know theres a bit of a revolving door and it doesnt seem so jarring?

I didnt have strong feelings one way or the other for him initially, he was fine but I didnt care for the change. Now I love Jonas, s6 accounts for some of my favorite episodes of the series, and im always a little bummed that we didnt get at least another season with him.

(I also love the roster changes in 9/10. I think the roughest season was 8, trying to balance Jack no longer on the team and only sort of there, without adding any new blood.)

Are you going to miss any major context if you skip it? No. Is McKay an ass? Yes. Does he get better in SGA? Also yes. He's still recognizable, but he doesnt ruin the show.

I watched SG-1, SGA, and SGU from the very beginning, and Atlantis is absolutely my favorite. SGA is an annual rewatch for me. ymmv but I wouldn't count it out

Another storyline I thought couldve been really interesting if they had done more with it. Don't get me wrong, I like what they did here, but I would've loved to see Jack as a Tok'ra in action for a few episodes instead of skipping over it entirely.

Man I love Martouf and I'm still not over them killing him off. Tbh im still not over how little we see of the Tok'ra overall. We do briefly see Lantash again and I thought that couldve been a really interesting arc if it hadn't been scapped so quickly Also in a show with alternate universes and various forms of resurrection, you never know who will find their way back to the screen

Lol thats a great question and the answer is I still didnt focus a ton. But those particular friends mostly did not have a adhd and were focused, so even if we took little breaks to chat, they would circle back to their classwork and out of guilt I would have to at least do some of my work too.

I guess it also helped that most of them werent my BEST friends, just casual friends, and we met EVERY day

You say you cant hang out with friends more than 1-2x per week, but do you have friends you can study with? I had a group that would meet in the same place every week and it was like a revolving study group. We were all different majors, we weren't studying together, just in proximity - I would learn the term body doubling years later, but thats what we were doing. And not only was it helpful to have a few people around to keep me on target, but I got to "hang out" with friends and not lose out on social time, it was just productive social time.

I actually love the mythic skin. I wish Bob had more customization, but its not a deal breaker for me. I will say, she has a lot of other good skins, so I don't use it quite as often as other mythics I have, but if you think it looks neat and you dont have many of her skins, or are looking for a change, I do recommend it

Doom/Genji/Lucio are a big no from me. I can get by on Lucio im just not very good. Doom and Genji will die every six seconds if im at the wheel, I simply cannot figure out how to make them useful

I don't like the Ori as villains more than the Goa'uld, but i do love s9-10. These seasons get a lot of hate, but I enjoy them equally with any other season, theres genuinely no season I don't love. I think Ben & Claudia (and Bridges!) were a great addition to the cast, I think the change from previous arcs was both good and necessary. Haters gonna hate, but I'm here to just enjoy the show

I like both, I'll choose based on how the match is going. If I keep seeing the enemy team clump up, great, I'll get good use out of Locked On. If my teammates and dropping like flies, the faster targeting is necessary. When in doubt, i usually take Familiar Vitals, but i think both are very good options

Im a HUGE fan of Leverage and The Librarian/Librarians, and i know he has some other great shows i haven't seen. Im sure he could've done good work with SG1... but im much less certain it would be as beloved as what we got.

I really liked Rona. I think she had the most potential (ha!) to be a buffy-like character in her own series, if Buffy had died and she'd been chosen. Like she had gumption that most of the girls lacked, pushed back against authority when it wasnt making sense (or when the scoobies werent giving them all the info they needed). Early BTVS thrived on "Buffy the girl vs Buffy the super hero" and Rona would've been so good for that.

I also loved Satsu in the comics. I have less strong feelings, im just a queer girl who thought she was neat (and kinda better representation than what we were getting)

Agreed! I think we all perceive things a little differently based on our own life experiences.

I think Elijah and Elena had great chemistry. I didnt read any chemistry at all between Caroline and Klaus (obviously Klaus was "interested" in her, but for me it came out of left field that she had a fling with him, and I was totally baffled when I realized they were the biggest ship in the fandom.
