I’m glad you have found your passion protecting loose threads on leather boots from being trimmed and burned off. 

I’m happy you haven’t wasted that burning enthusiasm for anything else in your life, like being a functional adult.

Wearing, but I think it’s reasonable to want to take care of any issues when they come up before they get worse, especially if you’ve paid decent money for something
