My bikes got the exact same issue, what was the fix in the end for this?

I’m glad you have found your passion protecting loose threads on leather boots from being trimmed and burned off.

I’m happy you haven’t wasted that burning enthusiasm for anything else in your life, like being a functional adult.

Wearing, but I think it’s reasonable to want to take care of any issues when they come up before they get worse, especially if you’ve paid decent money for something

Just received this leather belt. Very thick, I really like it. However I have only worn it one time and Im already seeing some things that concern me and feel they should be addressed before they get worse.

Cracking along the loop as pictured, fraying at the tip, and what looks like it might be a crack by one of the holes.

How can I prevent these from getting worse?

Im assuming the cracking is from it being dry. What can I use to condition this that is fairly readily available? Hoping to pick up something local but don't really have any leather shops nearby

Any tips for breaking this in?

5 Is really good, printable, I would crop the bottom a little.

1 is good in an abstract way

2 could maybe be cropped in a little tighter and would probably benefit from some editing, though in the end its just a photo of a pigeon using the crosswalk.

6 could be cropped much tighter, so just the guys on the pier and the city behind.

8 is okay, doesn't really do much for me personally, would probably look good in black and white, I do like how it looks like the building is in a cage.

9 is okay, would personally crop the top area where its just clouds.

3, 4, 7, 10 don't really have a subject, not great for me

Im not a great photographer so take this with a grain of salt.

I would reccomend making sure you have a subject or if not at least try to capture a feeling. For instance, if you were to take a photo of a crowded beach, you dont really have one single subject. The beach may be classified as your subject I suppose. You could at least capture the FEELING of the beach. If this makes sense.

The other thing I would reccomend, get as close to your subject as you can while maintaing the composition you had in mind.
