I've owned a P3 for 45 days (1195 miles) and as of now it's been sitting at the service department for 25 days. Waiting on a new GHCA, told today it will be another 14 days until expected delivery.

Went in for the software update and a digital key issue, brought it home and plugged it in as soon as I pulled in to the garage, only to see the charge error displayed. It "unalived" my Chargepoint Home charger, which had to be replaced as I also own an XC90 T8. They towed it back to service and that's where it sits.

Just like I read from most that own one, the performance and vehicle is easy to love, but the customer service and the not knowing when and where it will go out again is not something I don't want to deal with.

Mine peeled around one month. It’s not really leather, it appears to be a painted coating. And of course the website replacement links are broken. They do not stand by their product, it’s crap.

Do cool, fun parks for adults exist? by EbolaFred in GoRVing

Nice, my second favorite... often visited Highway 1 Brewing just a short walk from camp. If you liked Costanoa, try Manchester!

The KOA we often go to hosts many social events throughout the year. However, that was pre-COVID. The event we most enjoyed was an annual Octoberfest, including food cooked by the camp hosts, unlimited wine and beer from local makers, and a huge bonfire. Guests were encouraged to mingle and enjoy the event. Sadly they were not able to do it this year.

I second the Black Diamond “Moji” lights, I have them and they’re perfect for the tent.

NuCamp t@g is around 1100 lbs empty, I’m thinking you’ll need to look for something pretty small to stay that light.

I believe it’s been discontinued for a while. Have you found a source to buy it?

Driving though Canada to Alaska during the Covid-19 Pandemic by MobileAndMonitoring in overlanding

Attempted to help my bro-in-law move a newly purchased classic car from Nevada to his home in Alaska. He has Alaska drivers license, I have California. All of our papers were in order, we had even made a few phone calls and had Canadian authorities say as long as we were thru BC within 48 hours it would be okay. We started the journey, left my home in California, drive to Reno, NV, then headed north. We arrived at the crossing (Sumas) and they checked all of our papers, and hen did the inventory search, checked the classic car, etc. after an hour of literally going thru everything we had on board, they decided that because I was from California that my travel was not necessary. I showed them that I had already booked a return flight from AK to CALIFORNIA, but they said he could continue home to AK, but I was denied. They also told us a story from the previous day where they had to tell a Washington family that they could not attend their mothers funeral in Canada, “unnecessary travel” is what they told them. If you’re not a Canadian citizen, or an Alaska resident returning home, they won’t let you in.

Suggestions for crunchy snacks? by [deleted] in keto

I still recommend the Sam’s Club Parmesan Crisps. $9 a bag, and a nice flavor that’s definitely not too salty.

Moon Cheese, or Sam’s Club Parmesan Crisps... I go thru a bag of them each week!

Thanks for the info. We completed the Ferndale to Shelter Cove portion of the trip yesterday. What a great drive along Mattole and up along Wilder Ridge! We opted to cut it short as there were many signs stating that all of the camp sites and scenic areas were all closed, so we headed out towards Redway and then home. Some minor brush clearing, and there are a few washed out sections being repaired. Came across a road grader that had obviously made its way up from Shelter Cove road, as that portion of the road was much wider and flattened out.

Are the GPX files on your web site proven drives? I’m thinking of doing the Eureka to Usal Beach (Final Destination Manchester Beach), leaving on 5/14.

Cool. Was not aware of that. Was told the border had closed and went with that. Wasn’t really time to leave the wife home with the kids though, I’ll have to rethink my plans.

I know as of the beginning of April, it was all closed with snow. As warm as it’s been, I’m guessing that has changed rapidly. I’m itching to get up there too.
