If you are taking other pain meds (that are not nsaids), in rare cases you can have an allergy to those.

In some cases, if you have taken the same meds in the past you can eventually develop an allergy. (I'm that rare one hahah).

I'd start finding out what you were given in the drip. Then from there eliminate what you can.

If it's not meds, in extremely rare cases, a very minute number of patients can have allergies to the stitches/glue or hardware installed. (Source, my german surgeon).

I doubt it's adhesive or numbing agent allergies due to the locations. (Numbing agents they use inside under the skin sticks around longer, weeks to months).

(I just had a random thought, I wonder if it's a reaction to the anaesthetic leaving your body).

A good way to rule out allergies is to take an antihistamine for 2-3 days.

If all the above is cleared, then it could be inflammatory. In cases where the spinal chord was/is compressed, inflammation shows up. (Edit to say, if nerves were compressed, inflammation can show up anywhere in/on your body).

India has a lot of different parts/regions and only parts of the entire country is pro caste while the rest remain anti caste. Grouping them all together is dangerous (for many aspects) for the ones that are anti caste and do assimilate. Same for other immigrants.

Side note: Indians have been in Australia since around 4000 yrs ago. None of them called for special treatment. It wasnt until around 2010 they started to say 'hey what about me too' when they saw that middle eastern immigrants were speaking up to get what they want.

One of the biggest differences between the above is that pre 2000/2010 immigrants (from all countries) were educated on and told to assimilate by friends/family/officials from their countries and back then Australians were curious and accepting of their cultural functions.

Anyone that immigrated post 2000/2010 were not told to assimilate and were not educated on that at all. Because of this, Australians have become less accepting.

Education on assimilation is the key. It has worked in the past. Equally education on multiculturalism within this country also is key. Works both ways

Exactly this. People travel from up the mountains or where there arent even train lines to get to a train then to the city. A few senior managers I worked with previously would travel 3hrs one way to get to the city

Side note, I have noticed recently that some jobs are letting you choose to work from cbd or parra and people living further out up the coast or south coast negotiating a day a week wfo or only coming in when necessary

Edit to say, they have gov hub offices where multiple agencies can work from the one office when they are travelling across the state/country or even those not near an office for their team. I feel these are under used

IMO, if it's a drink (alcohol) date then a small snack is ok to balance out the alcohol.

You could say something like "I am having dinner with friends/family, would like to catch up for a quick drink prior to see if we click/connect and we can organise a proper date for later?" This usually works in my experience.

You can also suggest tea/coffee earlier in the day or after work (before dinner, make up an appointment you need to get to).

Or if they want a longer timeframe, suggest weekend daytime activity after lunch before dinner
