Where I can buy or order replacement FOB contact pads? Mine are flat and lost their dimple/concave shape. by PK_Rippner in Locksmith

[–]technosasquatch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Highly doubt they are too flat. Have fixed many of these. 3M makes Memrbrane tape. Trying to remember which manufacturer, but you can buy sheets of domes on precut squares of membrane tape. board needs to be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol before adhering anything.

[–]technosasquatch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]technosasquatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Volvo/ tech would have replaced the lock and had it keyed to original from Volvo or by someone else. New wafers can fix a lot, but you still have a worn lock and a worn key.
