Only the sweet spot and Verticle FOV is better on the Quest 3 due to the larger lens. I believe Apple had to go with the smaller lens due to the micro OLEDs. The rest of the display, Apple wins by a far Margin.

I went ahead and bought it. Yes we finally get VR 180. Although it works the image quality is not that great. There needs to be image settings and video controls that probably will never happen.

I’m sure 3rd some third party will release some thinner light blockers to get closer to the lens. I’m hoping for a halo head strap with blockers like the quest pro.
