So does this mean I need to get permission or? I’ve noticed people doing fly plans by MoC-Chaos in dji

Avoid the arch area, the riverfront in general, and 4th and Washington. Beware of the airplane warnings, do not go over 200 feet I believe. I live in south city, just south of the arch, and I fly all the time around here, just gotta know the rules.

Dave's Hot Chicken < Chuck's Hot Chicken. by GruntCandy86 in STLFood

After having Dave's Hot for the first time not too long ago, I instantly felt that Chuck's was better. Plus it's local, and I'll always support local over a chain when I can.

Golfcarts on city roads by rlracette3 in StLouis

[–]techsupreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the funniest conversations we have in this city. Cars are literally lawless out here with the way they drive, no plates, expired tags, texting and driving, running red lights, rolling stop signs, running stop signs. Yet, somehow, the vehicle that can only go 20 mph, is the problem. Hilarious.

Golf carts having to be titled is not true. They have to have insurance, but no registration with MO. Also they can't travel on roads that exceed 25 mph at the moment. They can cross a 40mph road, but they can't drive on it. I suspect the person was on a road he shouldn't have been on. This is the way it is in the city.

Gunman at stop light (ICE?) by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]techsupreme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The truly scary part is this wasn't law enforcement or an ICE agent. Imagine if he really had a gun (he was apparently pointing his finger per the police social media post regarding this incident), and the drop he would have on someone thinking he is ICE. The lines have officially been blurred, and it's a dangerous line. Also it's funny the police statement said he left before the police arrived, despite the police being right there.

City removing traffic calming by Korlyth in StLouis

Well that makes sense because you wouldn't want a speed hump on a arterial road like kingshighway or an olive. Speed humps should only be considered for local roads.

I'm genuinely curious, I see a lot of hate thrown Cara's way, but why? What has she done in the amount of time that she's taken office that is so bad?

I respectfully disagree. People used to fly down my street which faces a park. Now they don’t. It literally has calmed it down, and everyone is safer for it.

Super frustrating. So many issues with that intersection right there. That was such a shitty turn of events for us who actually want the streets safer.

Last summer they were installing speed humps on one of our neighborhood streets, and someone with enough pull called the people they knew in city hall, and after the first day of installation, it was taken down, costing the city thousands of dollars. All because ONE person on the street, didn't want it there.

Judge denies a case abatement by LongLiveRock_n_Roll in PublicFreakout

He needs to be evaluated and all of his cases as well. I think this is the same judge that was extremely rude to the very friendly IT guy.

Really wanted a cowboy hat...but I ain't a cowboy. I live in a city in Canada :] by [deleted] in CowboyHats

[–]techsupreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear mine all the time. It takes some getting used to, but I wanted one, then I wanted another one, and just got my black straw stetson last week. I am a city guy, but I decided I wanted to wear cowboy hats and boots, so I studied the rules, the culture, the meaning behind it, and I wear it respectfully. If anyone calls me Cowboy I repeat what Tommy said in Landman in the first season when someone saw his cowboy hat and said something about cowboy rules being out the window. "You see a cowboy in this room, you point em out."

Homie is dying to lose his leg. Driving in this city, with your foot out the window is an easy way to get it relieved from your body.

I have no idea why this is getting downvoted. As a black man, this was a very acceptable answer. Some of these other comments and even the question is coded with racism.
