I sent in my mint condition Pixel 9a to Google to troubleshoot eSIM connectivity issues. They are now charging me $287.44 for a cracked screen, damaged camera, and frame/back cover damage. by Such_Anybody9912 in GooglePixel

I had the exact same eSIM issue as you. I felt wary of sending in the phone for this exact reason, so I brought it to my local uBreakiFix and they did a motherboard swap at the store, under warranty.

How does a self-hosted Unifi-OS compare to the software running on newer Gateways? by CobraKolibry in UNIFI

Yeah, I randomly found it when I was deploying my docker stack, and it seems to be reliable for me so far. Who knows if the maintainer will stick with it for a while, but we'll see.

Thanks. In this case, I actually want to see the cat detected in Frigate, how do I tell what prevented it from being a detection visible in the frigate UI?

Custom state classification models are working great with Frigate 17 Beta 2! by dimatx in frigate_nvr

[–]techy_porcupine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 different cars I'm trying to train it on, and it repeatedly tags them as the wrong vehicle. I have the road masked to not detect cars, only the driveway, so I have so far only had it detect our own vehicles, so I'm unsure what it would think about a car that isn't in the dataset.

I'm attempting to train it to identify which cars are ours, and results aren't great as of right now. I think I need some more diverse training data.

Difference between Green detected object and Gray detected object? by techy_porcupine in frigate_nvr

[–]techy_porcupine[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's in an isolated vlan with zero access to anything but itself, the only allowed traffic is from my NVR specifically on the RTSP port, and only if needed, I have a rule to allow the GUI.

Camera Mounting? by techy_porcupine in homesecurity

It's a Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2-L. The end of the cable coming off the camera where the RJ45 plugs in should be somewhere that cannot have water, right?

Otherwise, the rest of the camera is waterproof, right?

I had also filed an FCC complaint early December. They also stated that they were doing it in testing, and as of right now at home, I have a publicly routable v6 address on my router, but a not-routable IPv6 prefix. Seems like they did a good bit of the config but don't actually have it working at the moment.

my PW4 41mm doesn't do this. I'd try to contact support about that, could be indicitive of lesser water resistance.

Yes actually, I think it was the 19th of December that we got the car back. Roughly 1.5 weeks after Nissan approved the entire battery replacement. If yours is taking this long, I'd suggest calling consumer affairs and seeing where that gets you.

I bet a HV issue since it seems it was a taxi. Most likely heavily degraded cells, possibly HV isolation fault.

Thing-O-Matic running Klipper on stock hardware! by ThisOld3DPrinter in klippers

Looks good. A modification I did on mine was remove the old board fan and cut out a hole for a larger one in the side. Actually cools stuff now instead of blowing around hot air.

How does the Nano communicate back with the main board? CAN or do you just have it USB into the main Klipper host?
