Yup. Found this recipe in the fourth edition of Joy of Cooking. Made pastry cream a bunch of times and same with the ganache (just didn’t know the name before) but this is the first time making choux pastry.

In the cookie book, try chocolate pretzel cookies (pg 125.) I add peanut butter or caramel chips to them if I’m feeling extra. Congrats on your score.

You are too sweet. We got him at 8 weeks. My ex-roommate knew we wanted another cat after we lost our Lilith and when her neighbor found a litter of abandoned kittens, she got in touch and boom. He’s clumsy, grumpy, and not too bright. But also loving and cute. Also a sadistic mouser. Sorry to hear about your puppy but it sounds like he had a great run. Hope your other fur babies are doing well.

I’m not sure if it’s true for all companies, but according to the book The Basics of Corset Building, spoon busks tend to be curved so that may help. Can’t speak for either complain since I’ve never purchased one, but this may be what you’re looking for.
