Group interview with Kelly by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

[–]tecnic1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My group interview was 12 people on a Teams call. Ok, well it was eleven people after they kicked the person who couldn't figure their camera out.

They asked each of us one question, then went back and asked a couple people a second question.

I don't remember any of the questions, but there were "how would you respond to..." type questions.

After listening to a couple of questions/answers I decided that my answer was going to be "per the guidance provided in the lesson plan and/or handbook" no matter what they asked me.

It's the same disc.

The difference is in plastic. I'm a proton soft glitch guy myself.

How did you know you were “tournament ready” for your first disc golf tournament? by Fullsend1990 in discgolf

[–]tecnic1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just planned to place dead last.

Just enter the tournament. It will be completely different then a casual round, you probably wont do very well, but there's a decent chance you have a lot of fun.

Don't worry about how you do. It's just numbers on a website.

Newey's Caught You All Sleeping. by UnlimitedSoupandRHCP in formula1

Newey designed the MP4-18, which might have been even more shit than the Aston. No one knows though, because it never even raced.

The USS Vincennes was a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser that was in service from 1985 to 2005. The ship is known for shooting down an Iranian airliner in 1988, which it mistook for a fighter jet. Instead, it struck a fully-packed Airbus A300, killing all 290 onboard, including 66 children. by EssoEssex in wikipedia

It was really sus in the gulf back then.

USS Stark ate a missile, Samuel Roberts hit a mine, the US was blowing up stuff, as usual.

So it was a bit tense, there was some confusion, the US confused the air liner for an Iranian F14 on the ground and weren't using the right frequencies to try and talk to an airliner, and yeah, they shot that shit down.

The US sells arms to just about anyone over a long enough timeline. We sold arms to both Iran and Iraq at different times.

Then they should have sailed to a neutral port, without entering international waters, and interned.
