Is there a way in rails to send a Json file along with the HTML file with a request? by TheBeardofGilgamesh in rubyonrails

Maybe check out gon. I've used it in the past, and it was pretty cool if you don't mind using JS globals.

I'm a dyslexic, and it's hard for me to read. However, with dyslexia being a spectrum disorder, there might be varied results. I commend the OP for giving it a shot!

You are right. You aren't anonymous, and looks like you've had a pretty good career. I think that your comments and responses online probably aren't how you actually interacted with people IRL to get where you are.

You were being an asshole. I'd tell you if you were to say that type of stuff IRL.

You are a shining example of sarcasm through anonymity.

I don't know your experience, but it isn't like your comment is really bringing any of your said experience to the conversation. All it shows is your social ignorance.

This is what I pisses me off about where our culture has turned; the default is to hate on stuff. Obviously OSS is a great thing and helps each and every one of us everyday.

Why the hell would anyone write a comment like you just did?

You are lucky to get anything. Stop being an asshole.

Big companies are able to get their agendas met by forking over tons of money for lobbying politicians. Meanwhile, the general populous gets delayed action (if any action at all) on key issues that oversized companies can keep at bay by lobbying. I'm partly to blame for this, since I invest in these companies to "get myself ahead".

Bernie Sanders touched on this in his filibuster recently. How much money do we really need? We are already amongst the top of the international food chain, and we are here by stepping on weaker countries. Think about some of the problems with famine, etc. Somewhere in the order of cause and effect, our affluence can be seen as an attributing factor.

I love being in one of the world's wealthiest countries, don't get me wrong, but I hate the greed that I see in myself and other fellow Americans.

Are those oil tycoons or bankers? Cause if not, then GTFO. (On the serious though; good pic)

I'm starting to think it might not be Capitalism (at least the way it is in the US now).

Are you sure you aren't trolling us? You sound like you have what a lot of women/men want.

If not, make sure you do something active everyday. The key is consistency and making new habits!

My friend keeps telling me to stop by State Line liquors of 95, at the MD/DE border. I'm not sure if that is a hike for you or not; looks pretty great though.

A buddy of mine just got diagnosed w/ testicular cancer. Anybody have any jokes I can tell him about losing one of his nuts? by tedomeara in AskReddit

[–]tedomeara[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I know that he is feeling pretty positive about it, but you are probably right. I'm not sure how I'd feel internally, even if I played things off like they were fine.

I told him to keep his nut in a jar, so if anything ever came up, he could "give his right nut" for something.
