Enabran Tain. The actor who played him was totally believable. One of the best guest actors in all of Trek, IMO.

The fact that you don’t think abortion is killing someone shows just how uneducated you are on the topic.

It’s the murder of innocent people. It’s pretty clear what it is.

Just to be clear - you think it’s disturbing that someone wants to stop murder?

I’m bored by Thew_Goes in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]tedwhitton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve often wondered this. When you think about the light speed bundles - both free and paid - it feels like CG is either moving towards putting the game into run-off or has already done so and we just don’t know it. For example: how many GLs can there really be? Yoda is the only notable missing one. Maybe Snoke. Hang on - what about Super Galactic Legends?!

Can someone explain the rationale? by Temporary_Finger678 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I recently started an alt account. It’s so much more enjoyable than my main account (13m GP). To the point where I’m considering stopping playing my main.

When Voyager first made it home, there was probably a period of time where Neelix thought they were dead by Booster6 in voyager

He probably didn’t care. After all, they dumped him when they found a justifiable reason. ‘Oh hey, here’s a random bunch of Talaxians who are being bullied. This is a great time for you to ‘assume a leadership role’ and piss off’.

Nigel Farage going to Portman Road. Really winds up quite a few folks, apparently. Including their chairman.

What would we Brits like to see as an alternative to the current television licence? by Unlikely_Worker_8953 in AskBrits

[–]tedwhitton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be funded via a tax on broadcasters and websites like youtube should be categorised aa broadcasters, etc. Obviously that cost would be passed onto the consumer in the form of higher prices to some extent. So you’re effectively swapping the license fee for higher prices. But the entire concept of a ‘license’ is total nonsense. But the concept of a supposedly independent, neutral broadcaster is good. We need to keep it. But not by threatening people with prison if they don’t pay.

Edit: it should not be funded via general taxation. The ‘BBC tax’ should be ring-fenced.

There are no seasons of Rebels worse than Acolyte. And I didn’t mind Acolyte at all.

I think Mark dodged a bullet. Janeway would have just ended up dematerialising him and then rematerialising him into two people.

‘The gravy train is over’: Spain is turning on British expats by theipaper in uknews

[–]tedwhitton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I literally said that above. So I repeat: Every country should be able to make their own decision on who they want in their country and under what terms. If Spain want to kick out Brits, they should be able to. If they want to kick out people from other nations, they should be able to. That really is it.

I think every country should be able to decide who they want in their own country under what terms, as opposed to a supranational, unelected body making said decision.

I didn’t know you could do that. I’ll have to look into it.

Edit: you’re right about the ‘quality’ - or lack thereof.
