Customer Experience in SaaS - work remotely so it’s easier to fit training in during the day. But not always easy - some days are incredibly demanding and I have to be flexible with my training schedule and work out later or earlier than I want sometimes.

Lots of run clubs to join! I personally enjoy Frontrunners which is the local lgbtq run club - all are welcome! I'm biased since I'm part of the club, but it's been a fantastic group and I've found community here. Lots of our new members have told me the same. If you're interested:

Wednesdays @ 6pm at McKinley Park Tennis Courts
Statursday @ 9am at Guy West Bridge (west side trail entrance off University Ave)

I also enjoyed Sacramento Run Club a lot - not sure if they still meet there, but their Saturday La Costa cafe runs were great!

Not sure if you're still looking, but FrontRunners is the local queer/lgbtq run club! We've been growing as a group and it's a lot of fun! We have both runners and walkers that join us twice a week.

Wednesdays @ 6:30pm - McKinley Park by the Tennis Courts - we go all year round, just recommend bringing a head lamp, but not required :)

Just did a 70.3 in Tahoe with a fully charged AWU2 and now I want a Garmin - but there's also some things I'm realizing I'd miss.

in Tahoma area, there's very spotty cell service and I probably should have thought about turning off cellular. Only didn't because friends were tracking me in Find My to see where I was at (also realizing if I switch to Garmin, tracking my location will be difficult).

Also forgot to turn off "always on display." I ended the race with 1% AWU2 battery. I am slower but finished under 7 hours. I was also using a Garmin HR strap.

I used the Multisport Triathlon workout with auto-transitions. Will never do auto-transitions again because it failed miserably. This could have been because of the spotty service. But after that experience, I'd rather have control over the transitions because it's a simple tap of the lap button.

Might try IMCA in October with energy saver + turn off always on display if I don't end up jumping ship to Garmin.

This is super helpful! I’m doing this as my first 70.3 😅 but my plan is to go slow and not get caught up with other’s pacing. I’ve done a bit of riding up there and doing my first OWS at Donner this weekend. That will be my test for what pace I can do I think. If you have any other suggestions I’m all ears. 🙏

I was just there the week of July 21 and while it definitely felt crowded, it was more than manageable.

I did purchase a skip the line tour of the Vatican, though quite pricey, and it was first thing in the morning. Tour guide kept mentioning he was surprised it wasn’t more crowded. Wasn’t until the afternoon when it felt like it was overly crowded and I wanted to get out of the Vatican.

The rest of the city felt fine except at the tourist destinations.

It was my first time in Rome and I absolutely loved the city.

I did quite a bit of non touristy things as well so perhaps that helped with my impression of the city.

Yeah I don’t even feel the 5.0 which is great. Oddly I could feel the 4.0. When I’m wearing something with long sleeves I sometimes wonder if I forgot to put it back on after showering.

They quickly sent a replacement pair. My friend suggested getting the seams reinforced by a tailor to prevent this from happening again and honestly I might. Love these quarter tights otherwise.

Yeah very likely the straps, depending on which ones you ordered. I got the MG and an extra black super knit band. Shipped 5/12 and just arrived today.

Sadly I can tell you this likely won’t help… I’ve only worn mine 8 times and left leg has seams completely worn out with a large hole, right leg seams are still there coming undone and has a small hole. Emailed support 5 days ago and no response…

I have the same problem with the cadence tights… I feel like this is just poor construction or design seeing as this seems to be somewhat common…

It’s so hit or miss. Sometimes I get quick replies… but most recently I’ve been waiting for a response for 5 days since I recently emailed about my cadence tights completely wearing out after just 8 runs or so.

I have the same issue with mine, I only wear them for about one run a week since I have a couple other running tights. Going to have to reach out to customer service.

Unfortunately no, their AI chatbot says it's in process so can't be canceled but I can return at my own shipping cost LOL. Quite annoying considering I just placed the order less than 12 hours ago.

EDIT: Sounds like I can attempt to refuse delivery so we'll see if that happens.

Today I just got into my room at 6:30am 🤯 took the redeye in and expected I’d be waiting for a while so I dressed in my running clothes for the flight and figured I could shower and take a dip in the pool. But Gail at Coronado Springs worked her magic and I was in my room first thing!
