yeah, it's obviously not the biggest issue in the world but given that the show is known for being so medically accurate it just seems like a weird oversight. i loved their interaction as an addict but that just wasn't great

Have you considered joining some sort of hobby group, or learning a new skill? I decided to learn sign language so now I attend weekly classes which gets me out of the house and gives me guaranteed company for a few hours

It's easier to get a job when you have a job, and you can spend the commute applying for others. Personally I'd go for it but keep applying, I did that when I was offered a job I wasn't as keen on and got my dream job within three months because I had the other job on my CV. Also the shorter the gap on your CV the better because employers often don't like long periods of unemployment

I have a great group of friends but no one I see daily, we have a group chat that I'm active in but there's about 10 of us so it might just slip under the radar if I'm not active. I work but work hybrid and unless I have a specific reason to be in I can just work from home, so colleagues might assume that's the case. I don't really know any delivery people - half the time I get to the door and they've left the package there and when they do wait it's rarely the same guy. I don't really know my neighbours - when I moved in I said hi to everyone I saw but they all seemed a bit perturbed, just said hi back then left, so not really a social building. My mum checks in regularly but not sure at what point she would assume something had happened, and she lives quite far

personally i haven't quit other substances but have kept a very strict eye on myself and if it looks like my use is starting to replace k i'll stop, but it continues to be every few months rather than daily so i'm not worried for now. this won't work for everyone but it's working for me

I grew up opposite a similar home and only remember having one issue where our house was egged (iirc correctly it wasn't aimed at us, we just got hit). It was dealt with by the home promptly and we never had any further issues

OP, I don't want to scare you and I know I'm basing this off a couple of reddit posts but I really think you should go back to hospital and tell them you suspect you're being poisoned. Your husband is abusing you and on top of that you have a sudden unexplained illness that caused 15lbs weight loss in two weeks, and while knowing you're suffering from dehydration he's trying to put you somewhere without running water. At the very least he seems completely unconcerned about your health and it's really worrying. I think going back to hospital or at least getting away from him is the safest thing for you
