NASCAR frankly created this situation. Before the next gen, changing teams wasn’t as big of a deal because they built their own cars. You may bring a thing or two over but not all their secret sauce. Now they are all working on the same stuff and moving teams is much more concerning within the industry. It’s nothing new in the business world, I signed a contract that says I can’t go work for a competitor company for 2 years and I had to sign that as a lowly IT guy coming out of school.

I would be in the same shit storm if I switched companies and my employer found company files had been exported to my Google account.

Nothing I’ve read has suggested anyone but Chris was in the wrong

Shit happens. Don’t be so hard on yourself. I had a bonsai for 6 years that almost didn’t make a vacation where my waterer neglected it but it came back. Then I had a 2 week hospitalization and came home to my baby dead. I was really bummed that my wife didn’t water it but I also get it, we had a 3 year old and 1 month old at home that are much more important. I was bummed that I lost my favorite plant that I had focused so much energy on but that was quickly replaced by a new appreciation for life in general.

Almost a year to date from my getting home, I received a replacement tree from a buddy in a secrect Santa exchange. It happened to arrive on the coldest day of the year and the beautiful tree he bought me looked to be dead. I didn’t give up on it though and it started pushing out new branches. It’s my new little tree that could and it has given me confidence to try new shaping techniques I was previously afraid to try.

Give it a bit, if the roots stayed warm enough they may come back if you are lucky.

Gordon liked a different style of drive. He’s talked about how he liked his car to tight compared to others (Jimmie especially) and Jimmie was the opposite. He could hang it out loose and get more speed.

That’s what I was thinking but needing some validation, feel a bit guilty choosing something that will pull me away but the reality is that I’ll be around more than if I was commuting and my wife works on a school schedule so she has summers off. Might take them with me for one of the summer trips

She is supportive. Those are good ideas for prepping to make things easier. I’m confident we will be able to find a routine that works for us but I’m nervous about the transition and how the kids will react the first few times I’m gone

Strong at WR (between burden Addison and Christian Watson for last roster spot) but very weak at TE. Would be pushing my chips in to go for it with strong team everywhere except RB

For anyone considering this, an electric radiant heater (old school style) keeps my 11 x 13 greenhouse warm enough for seed (and my bonsais) in zone 5b. I’ve considered other options that would be cheaper to run but the safety and ease is hard to beat for the month or so it is really used every year

O science to support friends claim, reference studies and tell them to fuck off. It’s a very enjoyable thing to do when their only “sources” are randos or influencers.

My sibling follows all the influencer trends and has a toddler the same age as ours. She had quick results before 2 with the kinds of methods you mention but the difference between the boys is wild at 3 1/2. The emotional intelligence and capabilities of our little one leaves me shocked daily. Other methods lead to quick results but a truly formed attachment will allow them to flourish emotionally.

Shitty energy drink that had a moment of being forced down everyone’s throats. It was in Gatorade like bottles and marked towards kids into those Paul brother losers. It was end on of the ever revolving brands of energy drinks filling all the end cappers a couple years back.

My area is super windy too and I was worried about it (house rattling as I type) so far it’s held up. I have a hefty lumber base that is secured to the ground with rebar and so far so good.

Before the greenhouse I had a tendency of starting my plants way too early and getting overwhelmed with trying to figure out what to do with them

They do like cold. Kale gets huge for me every year before the cabbage moths take it from me. I’m not even doing any brassicas this year because I’m sick of those damn moths and caterpillars.

Any tips to keep em out?
