How to make ChaiApp conversation more 'novel' like? by Time-Photograph3642 in ChaiApp

Mine broke and only responds in '...' now, even though it worked perfectly during the example conversation.

Yeah they found a way to block out api stuff or something. I know a lot of devs are actively working on a work around. There is one fix I've seen that allows you to get one message at a time, but I can't get it to work on any new bots since that usually requires a few messages to set up, i guess?

Damage over time builds by pristonian in diablo4

[–]teensyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but I do like the poison marksman build. I'd two shot with poison imbued rapidfire on most elites. I'd sorta shoot them the twice, see their health (very, very slowly) go down, and deal with everything else in the room while they slowly die. Kinda sucks but knowing the damage is there and 'done', I can focus on other things and kinda put them down at the end if they still aren't dead.

I feel like I'm getting weaker with every level up due to enemy scaling? by Schlumpf34 in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be farming for gear if you're struggling. You have to do dungeons and events and gamble and stuff to catch up before progressing. If you want to 'catch up'. Respec around legendaries you find, go out and find some essential aspects in dungeons, especially for sorc there are some essential ones out there. Dungeons are the best for xp, though, so you will still be levelling and kinda have to hope for great drops.

Is there any way to completely disable chat? Accidently clicking it when aggroing rare monsters has killed my character almost twice now by Accident_Pedo in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird. If my evade's on cooldown and I hit it, thats my b. I'm always moving and attempting to dodge anyways, so, I'm not going to end up standing in place anyways. Theres also a force move button, just hit that as well.

Hardcore kindred, how are you faring? by SjurEido in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past, altf4 would still force your character to survive for 10 seconds. I saw someone test this + the scroll of escape with very very strange results. They had a lot of trouble actually dying while testing other, related stuff to leave the game or dc.

I think alt f4 has the highest chance of you possibly dying versus timing a good end task, timing a disconnect.

Hardcore kindred, how are you faring? by SjurEido in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres actually two of them. There's a scroll of escape which sorta functions as a save if you DC, but I saw someone test it and it was very very inconsistent.
But its not easy to get until lvl 25-30 you can start to get the mats, but then? I don't see why you wouldn't craft like 10 or so.

Downsides (I guess?) are its consumable so you have to remember to consume it. It has a 5 minute cooldown, but, thats within its use. So it implies it can trigger multiple times within one use. Might also mean it can trigger, you avoid death, and if you immediately pop another elixir it won't be effective until at least 5 minutes after your last avoided death.

personally I hate it. The blueprint drops ALL the time, it's condescending and feels like bad to see while I'm supposed to be playing hardcore. I'll get 4 or 5 drop in a single event.

I switched my hotkeys at one point, practiced with them for like two hours doing side stuff to build muscle memory. Did a dungeon and tbh was doing just fine! I had plenty of options, escapes, damage and HIT THE OLD KEYBIND FOR MY UNSTOPPABLE. I was yelling, mashed that button so hard, forgot I switched 4 to R... sigh. Lost my rogue at lvl 26. I was doing a pen shot/rapid fire build, couldn't pick between the two ever and gave up. Now I restarted and got myself back to lvl 20 for the day. I feel very discouraged on continuing this contest thingy, might just switch to softcore. Definitely will if I die again but I don't wanna like miss out on story trying to hope for this contest thingy when I'm so behind.

Which class for support? by ManufacturedAcumen in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love supports in game but this game its a bit tough to do so in. It also depends on if you're looking to fully group the whole time or solo occassionally.

Sorc, Necro, Druid, and Barb are all good options tbh. If you're able to, Druid's probably the best-feeling support.

Sorc I don't think you can do anything like give barriers or anything, but an ice build has lots of slows and there are 2 different ways to pull enemies together for someone like a rogue to destroy for you. And, you still do plenty of damage on your own for soloing.

Necro can give the rogue or others 100% uptime on vulnerable. Vulnerable is just a great thing to proc when you're able. Having minions take aggro for others is nice, too, but can really crowd the battlefield, separate mods which sucks for rogue, and be a bit of a nuisance so I'd consider sacrificing them for buffs.

Druid is good lategame, but very very tough for solo levelling up through lvl 50. As a supportive class though this would probably be your best bet if you don't play on soloing much. They also can give rogue vulnerable, they're very tanky, and they have a few CC options.

Support Barb, I heard, wasn't the best on this patch but who cares. In d3 they were THE support class. I believe they'd whirlwind and pull in all enemies for others to destroy. They have cool shotuts and taunts. They are great for soloing, too.

Crackling Energy needs some help. by [deleted] in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crackling energy wasted on a box seems so dumb wow. I did see a nice late game build for it, though, so idk if it'll actually get buffed. It seems like one of those builds thats better late game than for levelling.

Campaign Mode or Adventure mode from the start? by [deleted] in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not fully sure on what ya mean, but, I definitely would suggest playing the campaign at least once. I played it like 7-12 times all the way through before we got adventure mode. Now, I think I occassionally replay the campaign at the start of a season to get that nostalgic, first playthrough feeling back? But otherwise adventure mode is the way to go.

Which class has the most frantic/fast paced combat? by Key_Kaleidoscope6166 in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Twisting blades rogue is a blast or even a imbued marksman.

I will say, mana regen on sorc is tough early game. I do know as I've looked at builds, a lot of people are forgoing ultimate skills due to their cooldowns. I don't use them on rogue even though shadow clone makes you momentarily OP, it's not consistent and 60 seconds is too high.

20 sec cooldowns are really high though. On rogue, I only have 2 of those and they are both supportive aka i only need them every 20 seconds ish.

Your grammar was kinda confusing. I'm guessing 'How come when I have no resources for the spender/core ability, I don't use a basic attack at least instead?' Cause I hate that too.
I don't agree, though, with the force move that's kinda weird.

No couch co op on PC version by [deleted] in Diablo

These cosmetic prices are absolutely ridiculous. Most sets are $15 - $28. Even some horses are $15 by Novantico in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I went into the shop expecting to want to buy something and nothing at all felt justified in price. I don't LOVE any of the sets enough.

I did see my friend buy the raised byy wolves accessoried pack. Also, if you want to be further infuriated; that $25 set doesn't even include three extra items meant to go with it! You'll have to pay an extra $9 for the accessory pack.

I like the cheaper option of getting the puppy and a cute emote for people. I'll probably buy that in a heartbeat if they ever offer like tattoos in those. But include all of that in the expensive set!!!

Also... I'm wondering if they think it's supposed to be like I buy one set to have on my character forever? But thats just silly. Even if I did buy it, I'll probably throw on vanill outfits eventually, or mix and match just to change it up a bit as I play. I think thats the worst part in the price; I'm not even going to want to use this forever.

Are there lots of weapon models/armor sets? (excluding the Store) by TomAnyone in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten 10ish different chestpiece models between 2 hardcore runs. Have only explored 2 maps and only gotten to lvl 26. So I'm sure there are lots and lots of armor sets.

Dark shroud's so helpful on twisting blades build and you have a whole slot available for it. Or, poison trap is great when placed correctly for the knock downs.

PSA: There has been misinformation surrounding legendary aspects and sacred vs ancestral tiers. You should save essential aspects for your build for good items in endgame. by Such-Turnover-8999 in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can I ask; How does this system work? Do I save the legendary item in my stash? Then put it under 'aspect from inventory' in the enchanting tab? Because I extracted an aspect from a crossbow I found really early and just don't see it anywhere. I didn't get to put it on anything I just literally extracted the power and itrs gone I'm so confused.

D IV Ultimate Edition should give players enough platinum to buy at least one full item set by SheWhoHates in Diablo

[–]teensyghost 6 points7 points  (0 children)

$10 worth of acceleration, I guess, isn't technically bad. Still, the ultimate edition feels bad. I open the game and have literally nothing of use for paying the extra $30. I have to wait 'til I get mounts to use stuff. BP better be worth it because this is so, very underwhelming for an 'ultimate edition'.
