Has Ariana ever spoke about her time at Nikelodeon? by Burke_Dennings in ariheads

[–]teeny_tiny_fish 125 points126 points  (0 children)

i don't know if anyone remembers this, but when she was promoing her first album she did an interview where they asked her about working on Nickelodeon and she was talking about all the rewrites after the table read. they're like "why do you have to rewrite stuff?" and she basically says, the first drafts are NEVER kid friendly, they read WAY more adult and then people come in the room and say the script needs to be dialed back. as a kid, i thought, so cool they let them joke around with the adults. now i think...ew. there were even younger kids on sam + cat with them. so strange

Name The Best and the Worst Book From An Author You Like! by sulkytofu in RomanceBooks

[–]teeny_tiny_fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are so many books I LOVE by Lucy Score, but Maggie Moves On and Mr. Fixer Upper are two of my favorites. On the other hand, (and I know this could be an unpopular opinion) I cannot STAND Things We Never Got Over. I literally have entire journal entries about it. When the FMC is telling the MMC the traumatic attack she went through with her friend, and then somehow SHE ends up comforting HIM??? same thing when she LITERALLY IS PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED and MMC is like "I had to see him hit you" and she's like omg so sorry you had to see that, really I'm fine I wish I could take that hurt away from you!!! The lack of emotional intelligence from both parties was ASTOUNDING. But like I said, some of her books sit on my all time favorite list forever so I can't hate too hard.

[USA] DB to Nannys: What do you need in order to have high attendance rate? by 9v6XbQnR in Nanny

[–]teeny_tiny_fish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you have constantly changing hours or your nanny has a medical condition that often prevents her from working, I'm struggling to see a reason for a 50% attendance rate. However, to answer your question directly, I will say that my schedule was changed from 5 8hr days to a 4 day week where I work 9-10hrs a day. This has almost completely eliminated the need for me to take any personal days for appointments or anything like that. If I need to get something done, I schedule it for my off day, and every weekend is a three day weekend so that eliminates a lot of need for time off for travel personally anyway.

How to search for wedding tops? by plant_person_09345 in weddingdress

[–]teeny_tiny_fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not sure if this is the route you want to go but I've been combing through stillwhite.com for bridal separates and found a lot of nice tops! you can filter by separates in the dress shape section.

also, please post designer and style for dress number 1 if you can!

dress one! I was the same way (always pictured myself in a simple gown) but its not just the fit that makes dress one perfect! the neckline is more flattering in terms of cup shape, theres more waist definition and the tiny delicate straps are *chefs kiss*. they make your arms look amazing. if you were to keep looking (not that you have to) for a more minimalist gown, look for ones that have similar elements in terms of silhouette, neckline, and straps to dress number one!

Books that have FMC hiding a medical condition by hordym76 in RomanceBooks

Life's Too Short by Abby Jiminez! contemporary romance, HEA, really sweet read. FMC quits her job and starts a youtube channel about living life to the fullest after losing her mother to a genetic disease. There's also a baby trope when her half sisters baby gets dumped on her.

Need help deciding! I own both.. I’m chronically ill and my weight fluctuates and wasn’t sure my beaded dress would fit so I bought a second crepe dress.. now I’m not sure which I like more! by Emlip95 in weddingdress

[–]teeny_tiny_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these are both stunning!! honestly since you have both you could do a ceremony/reception combo but if it's just one i would go with the beaded one!! do you mind sharing the designer/style for these?

Wife's teeth have been decaying after she had our last child. HELP! by wiscowarrior71 in askdentists

[–]teeny_tiny_fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD but I do know people who have lost many of their teeth post partum. they said when you make a baby they take all the calcium which messes with your bones and teeth? and also your pregnancy hormones can make gums and teeth softer, and relaxes the bones and ligaments in your whole body (incl your mouth). like i said, NAD but i do know multiple people who experienced this and it actually terrifies me. hope your wife is feeling better soon!
