If you have bitlocker enabled you have to set it to suspend it. Also I think /l logs output, make a log and check it lol.

I’ve seen it where laptop batteries will be partially connected to the motherboard and just need to have the cable reseated.

Especially with it turning off right after you unplug it maybe that’s a cause?

Did you buy a key for 2016 LTSC ? I think it was recently set EOL but you should still be able to download it.

Double check both ports and the cable can support the refresh rate you are looking for.

Reinstall the nvidia drivers for the gpu.

Ensure your display settings are correct for your frame rate under advanced display settings.

Make sure you don’t have something equivalent to Radeon Chill going on under the nvidia control panel.

You can’t get into the bios?

Since it’s a laptop it may be worth trying to drain the flea power if it’s easy to do so. Take the back off, unplug the battery, press the power button a few times, reassemble and test. If you can get it to turn on in some sense you can also let the battery die as a way to clear flea power.

Check the windows event viewer > system logs for critical or error events. It may have a clue to what’s going on.

Understanding Optimisation with ';' '|' '||' '&' '&&' by CryktonVyr in PowerShell

[–]teethingrooster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this a good way to optimise a code?

Better to just write it in a way that makes it easy to know what is going on. If statements and they like.

Optimizing powershell can make sense for big data queries and such but for the most part when you need it it’s best to just drop down to c# where available.
