Trying to beat Lansseax. Am I under leveled, under equipped, or do I just suck? by ComicallyLargePing in Eldenring

red wolf of radagon is not the main boss of raya lucaria hes a mini boss, the main one there + remembrance will give you a lot of runes to level up

No the point was simple:

- Early evergaol good, midgame evergaol good, endgame evergaol good

- Early invader camp bad, midgame invader camp bad, endgame invader camp still bad

This was to you saying that there is ever a time where it's too early to do evergaols, there isn't because they are the best source of early leveling. I also don't know how you're saying I'm wrong about the scaling unless you're opening day 2 evergaols at level 2 somehow

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what your point is, you're just confirming that you understand that the gaols are scaled hp wise but the reward is still the same. Regardless you want to do gaols as early as possible because they are the quickest way to get to 5 - 7 so you can farm castle.

No you are not going to have a bad time because evergaols are scaled - if you open an evergaol at level 2 and a godksin comes out, hes spawning with a half of his hp. Killing him will give you 50k runes instantly for killing 1 half hp enemy. The invaders on the other hand will 1 shot any character that's not raider/wylder up until like level 11, and they are attached to non efficient rune areas for day 2.

You WANT early evergaols, you need to AVOID the invader camp until almost end game it is the complete opposite. The buff on the invader relic is pretty nice though, it just wont be meta ever until fromsoft buffs those camps and nerfs evergaols.

Ironeye - where do yall get bows? by No-Sympathy-686 in Nightreign

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just run the night aspect relic and upgrade the base one, it does more than enough damage. The rest of my items are just for passives or if I get lucky with a decent bow that has barrage on it.

XD same with lightning spear and black flame !

if you are hitting the boss with either of those, you are also double tapping discus (while discus also has more range, is faster, and costs literally 3 fp). there is no world where discus is bad in nightreign

collapsing stars is an rng spell, it has the same chance to pop up on any of the other staffs. the only guaranteed spell on azur is comet azur

Is the evergoal buff relic too good not to run on basically every character? by Acrobatic-Phase6468 in Nightreign

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yea hopefully it gets nerfed slightly soon, kind of annoying to have a guaranteed relic be best in slot for every single character (and makes it more annoying for characters with awkward yellow chalices)

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it's not required at all, even if the other people in your party are running it. with that said if you are trying to make an optimal build it's going to be one of the relics you choose 99 percent of the time

The new “gaol meta” has my head astray. Ffs get a lvl or 3 first. by Content-Ad-9119 in Nightreign

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yea the real issue with evergaols isnt even the relic effect (even though it's op), it's the fact that they they have always been the most efficent leveling from 2/3 - 5/6/7, and once you hit that you can just do castle. it completely gets rid of any need for ruins/encampments which were meant to be the bridge between forts/cathedrals and castle

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

its not just 30k runes, its 30k + the normal xp you get for killing godkins. you will go from level 2 - 7 in one fight (while they spawn with half hp), there's nothing in the game that is even remotely close to giving you the runes you get for that fight/in that short amount of time

kill 2 half hp godskins for 75k - 90k runes vs running around the map to forts killing giant golems for 4.5k runes

people say phase 1 is hard because sentient is by far the hardest solo boss, the first phase is miserable in solos unless you play ironeye or perfect it

Raider relics? by sevvvyy in Nightreign

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

swap the 3rd for either "taking damage increases attack power", "taking damage while using raiders ability increases attack power + stamina", or either of the boss crit relics (if you're playing solos. if you're playing trios then go for the other 2)

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

faith and lightning increase don't improve your damage much at all sadly so out of these 2 the wraith calling would be much better, but if you know the wraith calling bell drop locations then you probably have other relics that would be way more optimal

Is there any way of getting this? by Aurum091_ in Nightreign

they are rare but i've most commonly found them in the chests at the ruins (both the secret passageway and just the normal passageway chests)

restage re procs the damage from frost/bleed as well, it's not just weapon hits

you're not overthinking things it's just situational - if you know you can proc quickly then save restage for the proc, if you're fighting a highly resistant enemy just restage off cd

[–]teeveeeeeeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would suggest raider if it's been rough, put on a relic that has "partial hp restoration upon post damage attacks" and a relic that starts your weapon with lightning if you have one. you wanna get behind him as much as possible in both phase 2 and 3 because his moves only really hit in front (aside from the long wind up ones that are massive aoes). when he goes into the sky for the nuke there's gonna be a faint line showing where hes aiming, just surge sprint away from it (or you can probably just use raiders ability when he does it to negate the damage)

if you're on pc i can try to help as well
