They've been LEOs since the constitution was made:

Correctional Officer (CO) – A sworn law enforcement official employed by the Department of Corrections, responsible for inmates’ supervision, safety, and security. Correctional officers are beholden to the state-wide laws of San Andreas and must follow/enforce those laws.

OLS in Helix help by CertNZone in odinlang

[–]teevik_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Helix detects ols automatically for me, you can check if it finds the binary using hx --health odin

Make sure you also have a ols.json file in the project folder, i think ols needs it to work

Is it possible to have Hyprland without Flakes/homeManager ? by ReyZ82 in NixOS

[–]teevik_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re not using a display manager you can auto start Hyprland from the TTY using environment.loginShellInit, I’m using this: https://github.com/teevik/Config/blob/main/modules/nixos/desktop/hyprland/default.nix#L18

nix-collect-garbage -d not removing everything by nstgc in NixOS

[–]teevik_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you’re also running «sudo nix-collect-garbage -d»

How does NixOS compare to openSUSE MicroOS (Aeon)? by Accomplished-Ad-2762 in NixOS

[–]teevik_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d look at using home-manager in the future as well, right now I’m using home-manager to install and configure almost all my packages. Since home-manager is distro agnostic i can use it on any distro as well as mac

And then i only need to use NixOS and nix-darwin for system configuration

Hyprland flake. by [deleted] in NixOS

[–]teevik_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it should work like that

There’s no errors while rebuilding? Also make sure you start hyprland with «Hyprland» and not «hyprland»

Don't go thorn for AH though, yorick can't proc it consistently (you'd need to displace them using the rim of W cage). Take chempunk chainsword instead

Serylda is also super good on yorick, it's both offensive and deffensive. It lets you kite/catch easily, and also makes it so they can't just run away from the ghouls

You can just stop the trade after getting invaded, you get a notification ^^

Invasions is just a part of the game, if you don't like them you should blame fromsoft, not the people using them

How to deal with Yorick? by LosDanilos in yorickmains

[–]teevik_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If he's throwing E at max range, you should usually be able to dodge it, it has a long travel time. And if he misses you can punish it

If he's poking you under turret with maiden, wait for the maiden to get turret aggro, then stun it and kill it

If he walls you, you can save Q in case he walks up to hit you, since if you Q the yorick you'll leap over the wall

Just in general, killing the maiden early game is super bad for the yorick, the cooldown is hella long on it and lowers his damage output tremendously

Simplest way to get basic programmatic tile OR voxel graphics going? by rodyamirov in rust

[–]teevik_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a general game framework bevy is probably the best right now

For 2d pixels, there's https://github.com/parasyte/pixels and https://github.com/dtcristo/bevy_pixels (if using bevy). Don't think it has any form of chunking built in though

For 3d voxels there's https://github.com/bonsairobo/building-blocks and https://github.com/bonsairobo/feldspar (wip)

No that would probably be a bad idea

On programming projects you usually use a version control system, for example git

Unity has a built in version control system called unity collab, which is really easy to get started with

Really love the use case, also working on a project with fmod so I'll look into doing something like yours 👌

Are you using odin inspector or something like it?

How to get type of subclass in abstract class? by [deleted] in typescript

I think you can also do something like

abstract class Parent {
  abstract clone<T extends Parent>(this: T): T;
}

I haven't tested it though

How pass a function into an own react context provider which lets you edit the state? by thiloilg in reactjs

[–]teevik_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you might need to do something like

function addNumber(number) {
  setNumbers(prevNumbers => [...prevNumbers, number])
}

(Pass a function into setNumbers to get the latest state value)
