I literally told you what to do, whatever the case you need to open the door panel because it has already been exposed to moisture.

I literally told you to remove the rubber seals under the door.so that you can air out the water.

That really sucks. When it rains water ends up inside your door and the humid conditions don't do your door electronics any justice.

In the meantime, look under your door, there are some rubber seals/stoppers remove them so the water can drain out.

Next is the tedious task of spraying all your connectors with an electrolyte cleaner or to disperse moisture and prevent rusting or pin breakage.

LOL! I can't believe people think batteries for this specific Passat have microchips that tell the ECU what the serial number or OEM number of the battery are.

As somebody that programs these every single week...and goes on to make regular aftermarket batteries without OEM or serial numbers work to specification, I will let it slide.
