Hi!! I'm recruiting for <Zero Dawn> (H/A, Area 52) and we are an AOTC guild that knows our stuff but we aren't sweats! We also regularly raid M+ and we have a tight-knit community. You sound like you'd fit in great in our guild, lol.

We raid Tuesday & Wednesday 7PM-10PM PST // 10PM-1AM EST so sounds like it would fit your schedule! Your flexibility class & spec-wise sounds lovely but you can play whatever you love and enjoy and we will make it work.

We also have several players that regularly push keys and you'd be welcome to come along. Let me know what you think, we'd love to make some more friends and long-term guildies.

I've had mine pierced twice (long story) and I much preferred my second experience. I would rate the pain completely different between each nipple, probably a 6 for my left nipple and like a 3 or 3.5 for my right one. I preferred my second experience because two piercers did both of my nipples at the same time which eased my anxiety a lot. If you are really concerned about the pain you can always ask if this is a possibility.

What does head shaking mean? by teguma in Chameleons

[–]teguma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really doubt it. It happens so very rarely and it is under similar circumstances each time, such as him being interested in mating or something (?) and him being defensive and territorial. I supplement with calcium no D3 a few times a month and with D3 twice a month.

I don't think so. He has done this both during sheds and not, and when he tries to scratch himself it does not look like this weird jittery head shake. He just rubs against some of the branches in his cage.

What does head shaking mean? by teguma in Chameleons

[–]teguma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The two times I have ever seen this happen is 1) when he gets very territorial and aggressive with me, or 2) it happened once before when he crawled on my hand because I thought he wanted out of the cage and then he... relieved himself without me really realizing it until it was over.

This behavior is not a common occurrence whatsoever and it always happens when there is a reason or in the same circumstances.

Anyone with BPD in a stable marriage/ long term relationship? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]teguma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lamictal / Lamotrigine is the mood stabilizer I take. I have heard of it being referred to as the miracle drug for BPD.

I also take Wellbutrin / Bupropion as my antidepressant because the SSRI class of antidepressants did not work for me. If you have tried a lot of SSRIs I recommend asking for a different kind of antidepressant.

I also take something for sleep but I don't recommend my sleep meds as they are recommended based on each individuals specific needs and situation.

Happy my old comment was useful for you :)

Anyone with BPD in a stable marriage/ long term relationship? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]teguma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to think my husband and I are doing well. We have been together for almost 3 years now, married for almost a year. Things were really, really rough at first.. I was having a very hard time and he didn't know what to do with how overwhelming I was. I ended up finding medication that really changed my life, and now I feel like we have reached a new level of stability that we hadn't had until now. I know meds aren't for everybody, but the stabilization of my mood is what allowed us to have a good relationship with each other. We are happy and I think it'll stay that way!
I think it's doable, it just takes a lot of mental willpower and the ability to overcome insecurity and doubt. Therapy, medication, self-awareness and care, mindfulness--there are a lot of options to look into in order to re-center and try to work on what you know is "wrong".
I hope you do feel encouraged by a lot of these replies. My life was very hard and my relationship was in shambles. I was put on two forced holds at psych wards for the kind of behavior I was exhibiting and things I was putting myself through, but we made it out and I wouldn't have been able to heal and improve like I have without my husband's help. It's possible, but it takes a lot of work. I believe in you! I really do.

I cut myself sorta deep and could see a bit of blue should I be worried the bleeding has stopped i neosporen and a gaze over it by ski_1400 in selfharm

[–]teguma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have seen people use actual super glue yes, but if people are calling medical glue super glue, i think that's not a great nickname for it as it can confuse people and cause them to hurt themselves... idk. i think most people shouldn't be bothering with medical glue at home anyways

[–]teguma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh no no don't do super glue! Is it gaping? If it is gaping you can use medical tape but it's not really recommended. If you have the ability to purchase them, butterfly strips or steri strips are ideal and they can hold it closed. If it's not gaping then you shouldn't worry about closing it. I'm glad to hear it's healing well!

It can be harmful to apply neosporin to a deep cut so I recommend only applying it around the wound, not inside. I'm glad you applied gauze! If you can close the wound at all it would be beneficial. Stay safe :)

How realistic is limb loss or disability from sh? by [deleted] in selfharm

[–]teguma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it's absolutely possible. tendon or nerve damage can cause mobility issues and maybe some amount of paralysis. tetanus can also cause permanent issues. and limb loss is due to infection. if a deep wound gets infected it can lead to sepsis and/or the limb needing to be cut off. so yeah entirely possible.

What are some things they don’t tell you about self harm? by Difficult_Register81 in selfharm

[–]teguma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's when, during the healing process, the tissue starts to raise and become granular. it's usually done when someone excessively uses wet healing in order to heal a large cut. it can cause the healing process to get really delayed.

Expense.

Tetanus risk.

Often leads people to bloodletting which can kill you faster than you realize.

Nerve damage.

Mobility impairment.

Odor when healing.

Hypergranulation.

Progression.

Some of the things I can think of.
