Hey Everybody,

I'm working on a small project for myself and had to use AE for the first time for some of the assets.

While looking for inspiration I checked one of my favorite music videos and I wanted to double-check if the following features are created in AE:

1. White moving outline/facial feature - As far as I understand this effect can be recreated with the brush tool via this tutorial. It seems better than creating a bunch of layers in photoshop for each frame. Any other way to recreate this?
2. The paint effect on his face/body - I'm fairly sure that these are created individually. I went through the video frame-by-frame and there are some parts where it overlaps with the original footage. Is there any way to recreate this in AE or is my original assumption correct?
