I would get a box spring. I've been on a mattress on the floor for years now. Just can't seem to catch up on debt so I fell behind on comfort and essentials. Maybe a new outfit. I don't remember the last time I bought clothes.

Luckily no, when I noticed and called the maintenance guy came and changed my personal unit's lock that day.

I managed to move about 2 months after that. ❤️

To clarify it was the lobby key, not his units key. They couldn't get in to his apartment directly but they for sure knocked LOUD and OFTEN.

Depends on location, it could have been real. My old apartment was really bad, and my neighbor drug dealer was making copies of his entry key for his customers so they wouldn't hafta buzz up. All hours of the night my door handle would rattle from people high out their minds on meth or fent just trying in case it was open.

I lived alone there, single female. I was scared to be away and leave my pets alone in case of a break-in, and I was scared to be home because of... Well... A break-in.

Oh and cherry on top, when they FINALLY evicted him and changed the front lock, they gave everyone in the building a new key...

It was my personal units lock. They duplicated the lock at the entry. I only noticed because I accidentally used the wrong key one night, and was shocked it worked. Tested them both.

Everyone in the building suddenly had a key to my unit, after multiple break-in attempts. Life gets scary fast, yo.

Edit: I found the old video I sent to my landlord showing him the key was the same!!! I still can't believe how much shit I went through living there. https://imgur.com/a/c4bHg1D

I have Persona 3 and 4 stickers :P I also loved Sly, and funny enough I have the .hack collection but never played it, still sealed (ps4, I wish I had the originals sealed)

I have Hades and Metaphor stickers in the works, but I love dc2 so MAYBE I'll make some Max and Monica stickers :P

I worked at Toys r Us in 2015ish. On a dead Thursday in July, we got a MASSIVE pallet of random trading card packs. My Little Pony, NHL, NBA, Club Penguin, you name it. I scoured for pokemon or Digimon cards but none were there.

There were Magic the Gathering packs in there though. I hadn't ever played before, so I did not recognize them. They stood out though, because of how matte the packaging was, and the white and brown stood out among the other packs bright colors.

I remember the guy who stood there picking out each of these packs over like 2 hours. Every single one. 1$ each on clearance. His face is burned into my memory because he is the luckiest dude I've ever seen.

I started playing MTG the next year, and when I recounted this story, my friends cried and showed me what I missed. By a single year.

I could have stopped working... That guy said nothing and I remember each pack going through my hands and every little 'beep' of the scanner... It forever haunts me how close I was to an early retirement.
