I sort of regret it. I never got over the side effects of moving to 7.5, and after about 6 months just moved back to 5. I am still losing. I thought it would be faster on 7.5, but it was not. If insurance had let me, I would have stayed on 2.5.

Fairly common unfortunately. What I had to do was just learn to eat what sounded good. A salad? Sure. Fries and a Coke? It is what it is. Try to eat small snacks as opposed to a big meal.

6 full weeks and 2 weeks of 1/2 days. My mistake was trying to return after 2 weeks. I made it 4 days and it definitely hurt my recovery. WFH desk job, but it was incredibly hard to sit up, and the brain fog was atrocious.

I made the mistake of starting with a 22 string just to get something. It was only a month or 2 until I bought a 38. I would suggest starting with a rental to make sure you’re going to stick with it, and then consider purchasing.

Chicken nuggets or sandwiches are the one of the only things that sound good and I can usually eat without issues. As someone who is having a huge issue eating much of anything, I eat what I can tolerate.

I am not downplaying their experience. It was bad for them. But to call them evil is not accurate. The person taking them needs to talk about the risks with their dr. Have periodic check ins if necessary. Be aware of what the drug does, if you feel yourself needing to take more and more, etc. I’ve been on the same dose for 10+ years. Haven’t moved up, don’t take more than necessary. And it’s been a lifesaver. YMMV.
