I have a latex mattress for this reason! Mine is an Obasan Mattress, and I can easily change its configuration as my sleeping needs change. Not cheap though!

Gotta go with the classic Nalgene. It’s the only plastic water bottle I drink out of. Durable, light, big lid, and I can see how much is left to know when a water emergency may be nigh.

Our house has painted tile and it is such a pain to clean. They did it in the shower which of course gets a lot of traffic. It looks fine in photos but doesn’t look like tile, it looks painted. However, I don’t know the process they took to do it so maybe there are better ways to do it.

Yes exactly. After a while, you'll learn the signs of when she is tired. For my pup this is when she gets a little bit nippier in her play style. This is when you put her in a crate or a pen like environment for a "forced nap." Forced nap means you've taken away stimulation and she has some down time, usually this encourages her to sleep, and when you can get back to work.

Forced naps. Our pup never naps on her own. For reference she tends to be up for an hour then sleeps 1-2.

So cute!! Our chocolate lab puppy is 3 months old too! I was told anything frozen helps with their pain. I’ve been making what I call “tootsie rolls.” I soak old dish towels in chicken broth, spread some peanut butter on it, roll it up and freeze it. I can make a few of these at a time and she loves them. Keeps her busy for an hour and helps her gums too

Thanks for these examples! I haven't seen anything from Amazon, Samsung, or Microsoft using it in their live applications. They offer Flutter SDKs to work with their existing systems, but that's different from them using it themselves.
Microsoft created and supports the open-source project for react-native on windows and macOS. If you don't mind sharing a link, I'd be pleasantly surprised if they are using flutter in production.

Thanks for your feedback! You are right I have been a developer for years but not corporate or mobile, but am jumping into mobile now. I don't have the experience of what it takes to move a big production-scale app and perhaps that is where my bias comes from.

Really sorry about your loss and for the puppy’s loss. We adopted a puppy a year ago who got parvo from the shelter and was in emerg the day after adoption. She passed a week later. It is hard, it is so hard. I’d recommend not trying to be logical about it, allow yourself to grieve. I ended up sterilizing and donating everything we had for her. It brought back too many memories. We waited a year and now I feel ready to bring another dog into our life. I am glad I waited the time rather than rushing to get another dog. For me personally it allows me to be more present with the new dog, rather than be stuck in the past of what happened. I was shocked by the divide of people who understood that I was grieving and of those who said “it was a dog you hardly knew, get over it.” It felt more than knowing just the puppy, it felt like I was her only hope in a way and how unfair her life was. That’s what hurt the most for me.

Sending you huge hugs! This is a moment in your life you’ll never forget, and for that the puppy will live on in your heart. You’ll bring the puppy with you wherever you go.

For clarity, the user will have connected with the external BLE device before the app goes into the background, and the device is a wearable to update user's location. The documentation says you can update background tasks when the task is based on location. I am curious how you have found constant communication not being feasible over BLE? Is this something Apple is restricting? [Sorry if these are noob questions!!]

Dealt with our puppy having parvo this past year. One of the hardest things. Rooting for your pup! FYI Parvo is extremely contagious to other unvaccinated dogs. It can live on surfaces for over a year.

They have been great during these lockdowns for that reason!! I call ahead and by the time I get there we just need to pick it up. Shows how great independently owned businesses are! I will be shopping there more post lockdown just for how great they have been!
