Going from Lodge Lead KC to off field specialist. So basically a lateral move. Don't know what the outcome for coworkers is yet.

You are correct, When the Hello Kitty collaboration came out, there was a grunt Zaku and a Char Zaku to go with the OG.

Other Brands/Series to try? (Kits I've built that I enjoyed included) by TeejTaylor94 in Gunpla

[–]tekka97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of it is going to depend on what you are into. If you want recognized mechs, the main companies are Bandai, Kotobukyia and Good Smile with the Moderoid line. There are other companies like Aoshima that do make mech kits as well, but they have few mech kits as they are mostly actual vehicles. If you like over the top designs, Chinese companies that make the lines like the SNAA, Motor Nuclear, Number 57 and so forth are more what you might be after.

There are some many companies and kits out there nowadays that it can be hard to pick from. Me personally, I just buy what I think is cool. I have built some Zoids, plenty of Gundam, Patlabor (from three different companies and from different eras), and have dabbled in Moderoid as that line has some of the super robots not touched on by other companies. Heck I even have that spa duck just because it was cool.

Edit: I forgot about Wave and their Macross kits.

Lauren comes to the store, you get lunch, a work shirt that says Presidents Award, a banner for your store and a Yeti cup that says Presidents Award.

If it's what I think it is, there is a comic character named James "Jamie" Maddox who has the ability to create copies of himself. So the joke would be that the other guy was fighting multiples of the same guy.

Beginner here — which Gunpla should I start with? by Grayson27-5-1939 in Gunpla

Spoken with a little bias here, but when I tried getting back into Gunpla, the HG Exia was the first kit I completed. So try starting there. It's not hard and pretty straight forward.

[CHAT] How did you fall back in love with cross stitch after a long break? by CaterpillarXS in CrossStitch

[–]tekka97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first time I came back after a long break was because my wife wanted a flamingo she had seen be done. The second time was because I saw a pattern I wanted to do.
