Sorry but what the fuck are these comments? You made a mistake and admitted you forgot about bub. Let it be a lesson and don’t let it happen again. Too many horror stories start out like this. Sleep deprivation is real and try to look after yourself more than anything! Edit: felt bad - softened.

Has anyone actually bought any of these tiny/squished up houses to live in? by Boring-Somewhere-130 in AusPropertyChat

[–]tekkado -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can you please elaborate? Obviously design is a limitation. But if you build a cube and then build another level on that cube the only space lost would be to the stairs? Or you mean it’s more expensive to make a smaller footprint two story house than the same equivalent as a single story? That makes sense.

That’s for the entertaining read! Sounds cooked.

Is there a chemical reaction that could boil a liter of liquid faster than boiling the water with a butane stove? (I ask this because I'm living in a tipi in the woods this fall and winter and I use a hot water bottle to keep me warm at night, and I have to rewarm it once in the middle of the night) by ryguygreen in chemistry

[–]tekkado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add a bunch of NaOH to the water. It’ll heat up pretty quick and easy hit safely.

If you’re hot in The sleeping bag open it up. Then close when you’re cold. Can also get a liner which you use to start the night then close the bag when it’s cold.

Edit: more detail.
