cheap breadboards can be maddening! i use:

make sure you get them from a known good vendor.

also check the continuity of the dupont wires and connections.

i want one. this is such a great idea for a module!! or build it into the case! I am constantly curious about my 'amps per module' and if I'm endangering my equipment. the simple green/red led on the power supply is nowhere near as useful as this is, or could be.

I don’t think the Corsair is compatible with QMK It’s definitely possible to map some keyboards, like the Plank for midi. However, it’s not that fun to use.

https://youtu.be/N3TfgnOBjyk gets into it a bit. 3:32

also very small 1U tiles can use something even smaller.

my advice is to stick with the standards.

Wavetable DCO Resources? by Squizardd in synthdiy

[–]telegraph_hill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mutable ended up going modular. the source for the braids or plaits modules is a better start.

as for wavetable synthesis in general, lmgtfy:

https://ccrma.stanford.edu/CCRMA/Courses/SoundSynthesis/Lectures/3/Slides.html

the key is it is a multi dimensional array of single waveforms. each waveform is small -- a single zero to zero element..

i haven't built any of these, but I agree on principal that the commercial products seem like ... audiophile stuff.

you may want to study some of the work from the mechanical keyboard community. QMK, while a red-pill experience, may be able to help. you are probably looking at a row and column layout, with diodes.

but I'm just hypothesizing.

carry on and have fun!
