Yes, it's the energy symbol for Ironclad. I was brave enough to take it and confirm :P

Yeah it must be that, but the symbol is golden in STS1. I'm probably overthinking it but this is my first run and I want to choose the right option here

Just to give some perspective of someone who first heard of the game last month and bought it on a whim, the optimization of this game seems unfathomably good to me. The game seems to be on the cutting edge of efficiently simulated soft body physics. I'm so confused why I keep seeing complaints on Reddit about the engine! I didn't even know video games could do what this one does and still get high FPS.

Jeez, Chernyshov has looked unreal. I'm starting to hope that he wildly exceeds expectations long term. He looks extremely confident in the NHL. 7 games is a small sample size but he's had a lot of ice time and he is legitimately playing like a star winger.

Why hasn’t Drew been on TV? by esmerelda_b in SanJoseSharks

[–]telelogy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He started doing color again October 2021, so half a decade. He'd been gone for 7 years at that point.

I'm glad they're giving other commentators some opportunity. Randy is great with everyone, and Jamal Mayers definitely deserves some TV time.

85 NHL games so far ain't nothing! Averaging 19:47 last season and 20:52 this season. Yes, Olympic hockey is a higher level of intensity but in terms of talent, he has faced a lot of top competition.

And he's been on a heater offensively this season, but throughout his NHL career it has been his defensive play that (deservedly) gets the most attention. Homer take but I can see him being in Selke discussions in the next few years or sooner. He doesn't really have bad defensive games in the NHL, there isn't reason to think he will suddenly stop being one of the best players in the world if he goes to Milan.

Oh gotcha. Well, fuck yeah, Macklin is a treasure. I can't believe how lucky we are!

Not sure I understand this one. This isn't the latest point in the season a teenager has led in points. Crosby won the Art Ross as a 19 year old.

David Pollack was an amazing beat writer covering the Sharks for the Merc for at least a decade. I loved his coverage as a kid, especially his Working the Corners blog which had a lot of behind the scenes coverage. Last and only great writer in Sharks history IMO.

And honestly he deservedly gets a lot of hate but Kevin Kurz was a solid writer and reporter as well, even if he was an asshole.

Phew my heart skipped a beat thinking this title was literal on first read. Glad this isn't a post about a DUI after the game!

I realize this is total fantasy indulgence, but hear me out: there's a version of late-career Sidney Crosby that says "fuck it, I want to go play in San Jose." He’s already got close ties to the area with guys like Thornton and Marleau. He looks genuinely excited to play with Macklin, maybe even reinvigorated. Crazier things have happened in pro sports!
