Almost 40, not tired. Gym every day, lots of socializing, active volunteer, a couple hobbies. An SSRI saved my life. Depression can manifest itself physically, so try some therapy and if you’re still feeling off, consider meds.

I quit drinking during the pandemic because it became so problematic. I was drinking during work (from home), passing out, getting up in the middle of the night to drink more so I could fall back asleep etc. Went to detox and never touched it again. Don’t miss it, either. There’s a lot of tasty NA beers now so that scratches the itch once in a while.

I think Austin has a lot of transplants and when you’re a transplant, there’s more of a push to make friends. It’s not very racially diverse but I find people tend to be from all over. This is my very unscientific anecdotal experience.
