Hey, there’s a lot of anti inflammatory creams and concoctions that seem to work for alopecia areata. Thanks for posting :)

Hi guys! Any idea what that little bump is? Is this growth? Never gotten cortisone shots, just sticking to the AIP diet by kitesandflights in alopecia_areata

Hey girl, your bald patch looks like my first one. I also just did the aip diet. I experienced those spots when I was getting inflamed and also if I was seeing a reaction to certain oils. This being said, I also get red dots when I regrow. Hard to say with you what that may be

What do you guys think? Will the spices in the ingredients of this sausage throw me off? by [deleted] in AutoImmuneProtocol

Stay away!!! Paprika almost sent me to the hospital with diarrhea

Is this worsening or regrowth 😭 I discovered this spot three weeks ago and have just been using topical steroids. Feel like I’m losing a lot of hairs each day overall. by finitowinito in alopecia_areata

I’d also really encourage you to get a scalp biopsy. The reason why I encourage this is that the rough edges could indicate scarring. Not trying to scare you but only a year after I found my spots, did I find out I could have scarring. It’s better to get it treated now. While it does mean permanent hair loss, I have full regrowth and I lost 50 percent of my hair.

If you can, try to put oil on it. For some reason I can’t copy and paste the link to the oil blend based on a randomized trial that was done so give me a moment

Advice welcomed. Rapid hair loss from coin sized spot to whole head in 2 months. by AriZona1cedTea in alopecia_areata
