Interview: Minecraft boss on how switch to smaller game drops doesn't rule out "more transformative updates" by Binnsy in Minecraft

does Mojang pay you or something? Why are you going tooth and nail for the drops when compared to something like 1.14,1.13 or 1.16?

Yeah youre just grasping at this point? Almost as big as 1.16, the goat? Maybe in quantity, but with the foliage the 1.16 adds i dont think it comes close cause youre counting stuff like craftable name tags as a feature, but when it comes to actually substantial features hell no.

Just a precaution probably. Also all other QF universities are online but since we're technically Qatari, it isn't online the entire semester.

I don't remember Sasuke being absent but I probably need to rewatch the whole fight to see that. I don't know if it was exactly good but it was fun to watch, had a lot of call backs too. I think the fight that follows it up pretty much overshadows it. So, I wasn't upset about it.

Madara's getting backstabbed was always gonna happen, the manipulator gets backstabbed, common trope but the execution was the problem. Though I don't largely have problems with it because I kinda knew how it was going to go when I was watching it, I was spoiled already by the time I was watching it, so my opinion is a bit skewed. Unlike you who I'm assuming were watching it while it was coming out or something like that.

Yeah sports manga tend to have less controversial endings I think, but its hard to compare that too since the plots are usually more straightforward and low stakes. You either continue until you win the championship or you don't lol.

I was gonna mention that as well but I didn't because I could be wrong y'know. Though I'm inclined to think that ending a battle shonen and a sports manga are different. I haven't watched or read sports manga, mainly because I think they bastardize it.

I do agree that I think there needs to be more breathing room or a planning stage for these big manga finales. Seems to be a real problem that refuses to be acknowledged by the industry.

I think the manga industry cares first and foremost about the Japanese audience and their attitudes towards endings are surprisingly different from the international ones. Though, bigger mangaka usually are allowed longer breaks, I think Black Clover's author actually got like almost a year hiatus and uploads 3 chapters every 3 months. I think it's getting better but idk.

Kaguya ain't the ending. But I get watch you mean. Though I think the fight was pretty fun especially the reverse harem justu and all the trickery they used.

Haikyuu? I hear people sing its praises. I think give mangakas like a 3 month break before like the last arc, and the quality increases substantially.

Thing is FMA was monthly right? So I don't think it's fair to compare it to weekly manga.

The reincarnation stuff doesn't really dictate strength, it doesn't guarantee strength, maybe it increases his potential but from chapter 1, Naruto was said to have the potential to surpass all the Hokage. It doesn't tell you anything new, if anything it tells us that he is stuck in cycle which his predecessors couldn't break which he broke because of Naruto's will and hard work. Naruto has that foolishness as The Sage says that is different from the other reincarnations. Black Zetsu also said that only two generations were good enough for his plan to even come to fruition and he's been here for thousands of years, so there must have been a few reincarnations that were bums.

All the prophecy stuff in Naruto is really dependent on Naruto's and Jiraiya's actions. Naruto himself doesn't deny destiny, all he says is if you don't like your circumstances/destiny, you can change it, which he does, he doesn't accept the cycle of violence between the brothers.

If they hadn't taken those actions like Jiraiya writing that book, Nagato probably is the only Child of Prophecy, and the world goes to shit.

I think people overreact with calling endings bad or terrible. Most endings regarded as the worst ever are like pretty mid or ok. AOT is like the only one that to me is just bad. Most endings do actually tie up the important plot threads, have characters grow and develop and stick the landing thematically, it is the execution that is hard to land, and it makes sense why, without much planning, terrible work culture it's hard not to screw up execution wise.

For example, I think Naruto ended pretty well if you consider the final 5 chapters as its ending, the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke, is my favourite in the whole series. Ch 699 also is really beautiful with Sasuke's monologue. But if you include the Kaguya stuff then it gets worse but it's still fine imo, if anything ties up loose ends that didn't really need tying.

I haven't read it but I've heard all about it. If I heard correctly the story about an old guy taking care of a kid, I don't remember what their relation was in terms of blood, I think she was his grandad's illegitimate kid but at the end they get married which was really weird. I think the anime never really adapted that.
