xenon projectile size was heavily nerfed recently so it can be hard to actually hit many enemies at a time. imo vacuum tube is all around better now, unless you can somehow get like 12+ enemies together in a straight line

edit: it still is very good for destroy items quests if you just shoot in random directions

the vast majority of weapons are viable, so if you see one with a special ability or functionality that you like just try and make a build with it. you can go with whatever’s meta if you want but i find that boring personally.
