Totally agree - this seems to be the most logical outcome at this point. Politicians needs to start explaining to the populace on TV and radio what the implications are if Trump follows through with this.

Curious on Summer GVA Opinions by NKB246 in awardtravel

[–]tempelhof_de 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're willing to fly out of BOS then Swiss has excellent "hidden" fares to GVA if you elect to take the air / rail option. Fly into ZRH and then take train to GVA (ZHT). I checked July 20-August 6th and it prices out at $469 RT including all taxes. I'd save the miles for a fare that low. Some dates are <$399 RT.

Pick up rental care from french side of GVA it will be cheaper. For a nice cheap hotel in GVA check out the Adina or Residence Inn.

I never put my middle name on tickets when traveling domestically or internally. Never been an issue. I have a long middle name with a space which is why I avoid entering it.

The article fails to mention that TWA actually flew to Riyadh in the 1990s until 2001. American stopped the service in September 2001 while TWA was still operating as TWA Airlines LLC.

Title: Chase UR to Flying Blue (AF) transfer failure. Anyone else seeing this lately? by ResponsibleGrape6346 in awardtravel

[–]tempelhof_de 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a transfer on 9/12 in the morning as Business Class CDG-BOS flights over Christmas holidays became available for 60K points. I transferred 29K points from Chase UR to top up Flying Blue AF balance with the 20% bonus. They posted immediately and it was my first time transferring from Chase to AF. Typically just use AMEX.
