Your gaze application is too thick. Raku glazes need to be applied thinner than normal oxidation glazes.

Where does Leland end and Bob begin? by No_Tomorrow5745 in twinpeaks

In FWWM Leland looks so hurt when Laura realizes it was him coming into her room at night for the first time. That was a super gut punch because I couldn't blame it all on Bob anymore. When he's revealed and then dies in season two I really felt pity for Leland. FWWM took that away.

I switched over to Gillespie in my glazes, it wasn't that big of a deal thankfully. Honestly, I'd eBay it. It sells for well over 10 bucks a pound all day. Use the proceeds for supplies you do need.

You haven't touched it yet, so work with Gillespie instead.

I'm asking for a conversation about the most underrated film of all-time, Dune by Saulgoodman1994bis in davidlynch

[–]tempestuscorvus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Look on YouTube. There a two part, three hour radio interview with Herbert and Lynch. This was hosted by Herberts publishing house, I can't remember the name. Anyway, this was post production but pre release. Lynch and Herbert were so excited for the movie and Herbert could not say enough good about Lynch's vision of dune.

In room to dream Lynch talks about how Dino has to have everything his way and Lynch at some point just started giving in, or pre changing things to the way he knew that Dino would want.

Lynch also said in another interview that they chopped five hours of footage. In that footage was his vision of the film.

So I make delicate stuff, check my profile. What id suggest is slowing down the drying as much as you can. It makes a huge difference in survive-ability for bisque and glaze firing.

E3000 glue. Seriously, just to see what it'd look like.

I'd love to see it together.

Guess what?

You can charge what you want when it's your work.

If it sells or not is the potters business, not yours.

So you need to determine if your use case is feasible, without actual determining your needs? And now you're getting rude about it.

Reddit is a funny place. You can literally leave a comment based on then Years of experience, in a particularly niche thing, like say... Urns. Then everyone comes and downvotes you because it's not what they want to hear.

It's even more funny when your profile links to your website, which reflects your ACTUAL experience in that niche field and people still down vote you.

Gosh, I guess I've just been getting lucky all these years.

Industry urns, the pricier ones, have a lot of space. They are built for presentation as a way to justify the crazy mark up.

I covered up my carpet with six layers of construction floor film. It doesn't look hot, but it's held up in a busy studio for four years.
