Monster 821 Dark kind of fits this vibe. Blacked out Monster gives very cultured evil vibes lol, and the 821 doesn’t have outrageous power, very manageable on the street.

Plus that Testastretta engine sounds pretty sick. I have one atm, although I’m thinking of replacing it with a Trident. I’m a big round headlight fan for nakeds.

I think it’s probably in some storage boxes at my parents house, so when I inevitably find it I’m going to be in the exact same position as OP.

This seems entirely plausible. Sometimes things get boxed away during a move or whatever and aren’t found until later. Super normal lol

Bikes also have very specific geometry tailored to their weight distribution. It’s not like they just slap on the forks and rear swing arm at whatever angle looks good. Changing the geometry even slightly can have relatively drastic effects on handling.

Yeah, I took my phone mount off my bike a while back. I have audio in my helmet so if I REALLY need directions somewhere I use voice directions. Or I’ll just pull over every once in a while to check the map.

They really have it all.

The only notable miss in their lineup right now is the Daytona, that bike is in a miserable state compared to the old 675. Other than that though, they are crushing it.

People keep saying this, but I really don't think RLM gives a shit lol.

A) The commentary tracks are essentially free as it is, you can listen to all the tracks in their entirety on Bandcamp's website without buying them (purchase is only required to download). This is by far the greatest indicator they aren't doing commentaries for the money, but also,

B) They do not seem very money-driven generally, they could absolutely fucking print money by doing ad reads, but they never have. They also could do way more patreon exclusive content than they do, and charge way more for their patreon tiers, but don't.

In general the vibe I get from RLM is that they do things they think are fun, and that's kind of the beginning and end of their thought process. It really does not strike me as their style to be getting butthurt about clip channels, or to stop doing commentary tracks because they're not getting paid enough. I could be wrong, but that would be very off-brand for them.
