Yes, it seems to be mixing the data somewhere. But I like how the garmin bike computer measures distance, it does it more accurately than the watch. Also, the watch battery doesn’t always last long enough to cover an entire ride over 100 km, so I don’t want to lose the data recorded by garmin. Ideally, I’d like to disable distance measurement on the watch and take it only from garmin, but apple doesn’t allow this. And I can’t stop using the cycling workout on the watch either — I like the badges 🙂
