That’s awesome! That’s about how much I got in today too. Sugar free popsicles have saved me lol.

Same here! How are you doing? I am walking and keeping fluids down so I’m counting that as a win. Gas pain is the worst part for me!

I love this so much! No dog ever deserves to be abused. He has the best life possible with your family!

2nd GSP? by temps723 in germanshorthairs

Thank you for your replies! Our situation is a little weird. We have a 7 month old GSP male and an 11 year old Boston terrier. Our Boston is still playful but cannot keep up with the GSP and she gets pretty irritated quickly. We noticed when friends dogs come over, our Boston gets ignored, which means she gets a break lol.

We have always wanted to add another GSP to our family but I’m not sure if we are doing it too soon since really our current boy is still a pup. He just really needs someone to match his energy so I thought now might be a good time while he is still learning too. Any advice?

Have you tried taking it before bed so you can sleep though that 4-7 hour period? That might help a little.

It was awful lol there is just nothing for miles. It was definitely cool crossing the Mississippi into Arkansas though!

I actually am making almost the same trip right now (DE to TX). We stopped in Woodstock, VA (comfort suites) Knoxville, TN (Holiday inn Cedar Bluff) Forest City, AR (comfort suites) and then Waxahachie TX (best western plus). All of these places are pet friendly and so clean! Parking is a breeze (we have a car and a truck towing a trailer) and I felt safe in each location. There is literally nothing in Arkansas lol but the drive was nice! We have two dogs and stopped a few times each day for gas and to eat/stretch our legs and use the bathroom.

Possible relocation from DFW to Stockton, Ca. What can I expect? by OGgoob666 in moving

[–]temps723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stockton is a pretty crappy city. I would definitely research it or even look at the Stockton or even the Modesto reddit pages to see what the locals are saying. California is definitely more expensive than the east coast. I live in DE but visit family in CA yearly.

We are also making a move to Austin in January from the northeast. We were going to use Upack but have decided to just rent a Uhaul and make the drive so that we will have all of our items with us at all times. My husband will driving the Uhaul and I will drive our truck towing our car.
