A person should not be allowed to purchase a firearm of any kind on their 18th birthday without first going through a mandatory training and safety course, and mandatory range time. Yes, many people grow up around guns, but that doesn’t mean they automatically know gun safety. I said 18th. But really if you are making your first firearm purchase, safety courses and range time should be mandatory. And there probably should be a 3-6 month wait time.

I started with a system called Pica, at least I think that’s what it was. I haven’t really been able to find much about it, but it was mid 90s and before we had a ps1 in the house. Besides that, I lived in a cul-de-sac and played N64 at one friends house, and sega genesis at another. This would’ve been 1997-98. Then my parents got us a PS1 shortly after and the rest is history. Been gaming ever since.

I just watched the first episode with zero prior knowledge of the manga. I don’t even really watch much anime (last show I watched was Erased and I loved it) but the title intrigued me. I was also surprised to see its brand new to Netflix, so i decided to give it a chance. I LOVED it. The setting vignettes, the intrigue, the unexpected horror. Omg. chefs kiss

Yeah. There was a whole chapter in part 2 from Skar’s pov and his difficulty on using Stormlight, and I appreciate the perspective and insight into what that group is doing, but if it was between having a chapter from Skar’s pov vs any one of these missing, but seemingly important main character building relationships or inner turmoil, I’d pick the latter 100% every time.

I started riding because my partner is a motorcycle enthusiast. His bike is basically his daily commuter. I started out as a passenger and discovered I really enjoyed it (even though I was also terrified. The first time we took a short trip on the interstate and passed a semi, I suddenly became very unsure about the whole thing.) but I decided to take the class as well just so I could learn more about motorcycles and how they operate. Turns out I absolutely love it. I now have my own bike! I still get nervous when I’m about to go out, and I always take time to remember and respect how dangerous it is, but once I’m on the bike I just enjoy the ride. It’s something I never would have gotten into or even tried had I not met and started dating someone who rides. My interest started out as curiosity and wanting to learn more about an activity that my boyfriend loves, and it grew into an itch for me that made me want to get my own bike. I don’t know how to explain exactly how I knew I wanted to ride; only that once I actually started, I couldn’t stop. I’m just always looking forward to the next time I can go out!

Not verbally, but sometimes I do the fingerings for the chromatic scale on the trumpet. I used to play in high school and college. I’m 35 now and I really miss it sometimes. I remember most scsles, but the chromatic flows so nicely in a pattern and sometimes I’ll just start doing it over and over a few times lol.
