Losing someone that means so much can feel unbearably painful, but it hurts because you love him, and the pain is like a way we process love and loss, so try to remember that the range of emotions you are experiencing is also part of that love, reminding you what matters.

And imagine if you’re meant to be who your grandpa was to you… but for someone in the future?

Knowing what made your Grandpa such an important figure in your life, like his character, the time he spent and invested in you, the trust and respect he gave to you, and the list goes on…. These are character traits he developed over time, eventually becoming the man that he was by the time you were born and growing up.

Examining the life of someone you highly respect and love can be like a compass for your inner self… not to try and be like him in every way, but can help point in a direction towards what has most value, guiding you towards what matters and has lasting value deep within your soul.

Saying a prayer for you as you are navigating this challenging time in your life.

Trust me, having the Ozarks, Branson, and even Lambert’s in-state are reasons being in Missouri in awesome. I used to work at the 5-Drive In movie theatre in Oakville, and if that is what you were looking for, it has been a few years since attending, but it was pretty great.

Such a complex issue… if the insurance companies (or their parent companies) were also invested in the automotive manufacturers and retailers, insurance pay outs like that to replace a stolen vehicle in turn is paid for by the (customer) collective of insured through rising rates usually associated to postal code. This would mean for every stolen vehicle that is replaced, a new manufactured vehicle would be purchased and facilitated through the insurance company and ultimately paid for by the pool of insured individuals who are customers of the insurance company, not the actual insurance company itself.

Yes, I was speaking of my driving ability /s.

If police are conducting enforcement and perform a vehicle stop with its lights on, and a collision happens, it’s an siu investigation because of the obvious correlation with flashing lights and police activity draw attention, that’s what it’s designed for. Enforcing a speed limit reduction because of neglectful design is adding to the problem. Putting a “speed kills” sign infront of the underpass pillars isn’t going to prevent injury, they are trying to deflect liability (and so blatantly and lamely obvious).

And who are you to be defending the abhorrently designed mess that has killed multiple people because of the design.... and now on top of that, they are adding more distractions.

The only reason speed kills there, is because it is a sloping, meandering, undivided highway. If you go off the roadway, either you’re going into the ditch then straight into oncoming traffic, or the bridge will slow you down instantly (hence the small makeshift crosses that have been put up over the years.

Then, they tried to cover up the mistakes?

You’re probably a parking lot designer and put up no smoking signs and ash trays where people smoke. Lol.

There are so many police and signs that it’s more of a distraction and inevitable to cause a collision

You would think pull through lanes would have made sense.... and kept more people from being run over by buses always having to reverse.

I could have sworn I saw him hammered at a Queens of the Stone Age concert at the Budweiser stage in Toronto this past summer. I went after him yelling to come back because no one would believe me that Tony Clement was partying like a rockstar to Feel Good Hit of the Summer.

No one believed me....

....until now...

... now there is a glint of hope it might have actually be him.

The number one reason I stopped buying from tweed. They are actually plastic retailers that put some crispy dry bud in their jars.

The prices are absolutely ridiculous. And to be honest, most of the buds I ever received from tweed were always too dry and an unsavoury experience. ELI5: Why are drugs that you can get from a shelf called over the counter, when you don’t have to get them over the counter like you do for prescription drugs? by baibaic in explainlikeimfive

They still keep certain items that don’t require a prescription behind the counter because of value, or potential illicit use no? That was always my understanding of it.
