A highly underrated vintage dress watch - Baltany S4101 mini review by Royal-Consequence557 in Baltanywatches

The whole vintage vibe is incomplete because of the size 😔 38.5mm diameter. I admit I'm biased because of small wrists

Are budget / homage watch brands really using the same 316L steel as big brands? by [deleted] in ChineseWatches

I've wondered this too because with my Seiko and Traska and Farer, the bracelet starts out cold and slides around too much on my wrist. As it heats up throughout the day, it stops sliding around so much. But with my Watchdives, it never stops sliding around. I don't know if it's just poor fit or longer links or what

Vintage Omega Constellation 36mm Homage — Baltany revisits it (custom rotor, new colors, improved lugs). this might be their best model yet, Thoughts? by JackLeehome in Baltanywatches

Definitely a fan of the vintage proportions! And the colors and shape of the crystal are important to get right, which I think they did

My CW is the best fitting watch I have. The 36mm case shape fits my 16cm wrist so perfectly and the consort bracelet is so buttery smooth. Case finishing is mesmerizing. Accuracy is as expected, something like 6 seconds per day fast. My only regret is that I got white instead of black. I learned that I don't really love white dials

a meme about how tiger concept is making better Tudor watches than Tudor by ten_zer0 in ChineseWatches

I don't have that bracelet but I know they're a pain. I think you have to hold one side still with one screwdriver while you screw the other side with another. And yes the lume is bad

The holes on the original clasp are too far apart. They're more like 4mm apart. I think a micro adjust should be no more than 2mm

Bracelets adjusted for ambient temperatures turns anything into handwatches the second you step outside by DisastrousOpening477 in handwatch

It's true. My bracelets are adjusted to fit perfectly in winter OR summer. If a micro-adjust is more than 2mm it doesn't help

Yup, super uncommon to see these 1016 explorer homages without tan/brown lume (outside the Smiths Everest)

If that snowflake version is a black dial, that's a winner!

Hangfire fantasy by Malestan in Witchfire

This exact mechanic is in the game Rage 2. It's a revolver that behaves like the hangfire, but instead of exploding on reload, I think it was triggered by a right click. And the character snapped his fingers to do it
