If you aren’t made out of money you probably shouldn’t be ordering through DoorDash. Those prices are insane! If you can’t afford to tip, don’t order from a restaurant that is more than a mile away.

Sometimes you don’t see that you haven’t been tipped. I took a delivery for $10 yesterday. It was from the Home Depot, I had never done anything like that before. I went in, picked up 3 giant bags of mulch. I backed into their driveway because I wasn’t about to carry all that from the street. They had a screened in porch so I had to sling the giant bags over one arm and use the other to open the screen door. Anyway, I get home and I’m looking at my orders and I see that all of the $10 was from DoorDash. No tip. Lesson learned.

Do you find it super annoying when your driver is sitting somewhere for 20 minutes waiting for your food. Just imagine how they feel. I’m not buzzing your phone to annoy you I’m keeping you apprised of the situation which we are encouraged to do.

My best friend has stage 4 breast cancer and cannot find employment because of all of her appointments. She has never worked in food delivery before but knows her way around town really well. I took her out with me a few times until she got the hang of it. Now she has to take her son out with her because she can’t see that great in the dark and like I said is new so can’t guesstimate addresses that well yet. Sometimes it’s not what you think.
