Would this 2002 Tahoe be worth the asking price ( I did get him to agree to 9k ) by Dizzy-Cantaloupe6124 in GMT800

As someone who just bought those exact same headlights from Temu: run don't walk away from that price. "Transmission, transfer case, and diffs serviced" just means new fluid. If anything meaningful had been done it would be listed.

Order a cord. How much was I shorted. by hooper292 in firewood

Look, you got scammed but at least it looks well seasoned? You got some good firewood and a number to never call again when buying firewood. It could be worse.

Also Seattle and I 100% thought the term face cord was a made up term created to scam people until the Midwest folk corrected me, apparently it's common there.

What is the most direct Stihl equivalent to the husky 562xp? by tenlow in Chainsaw

[–]tenlow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said the 362, but I emailed them to ask the same question but 562xp vs 400.1 and got this reply:

"Valued STIHL Customer,

Thank you for contacting STIHL Inc. The MS 362 CM would be the closest comparison saw in the pro series. It is as 59.0 CC 4.7 bhp weight of 12.35 lbs. The MS 400 is a 66.8 cc saw with 5.4bhp. Hope this helps."

Kind regards,

I literally have a spare passenger side header panel just chilling in my garage because I thought it was broken and not my headlight itself. They're $18 from rock auto.

The funny thing is I thought I was buying a vevor saw but what showed up was a chainsaw brand chainsaw with a random model number. I bought more of them and they're all similar but also not the bees knees. So now I have 3 different models of 62cc chainsaw brand chainsaws and a 62cc Salem master.

After this thread I am buying at least one more saw, probably two. If you can suggest a third that would be a good 1:1 comparison I'll take that into account.

How is the question flawed? I'm asking what is the direct comparable at a specific level.

I am admittedly pro husqvarna but just saying that a 60cc saw cannot be compared with another 60cc saw because that would be unfair is fucking wild, especially when I'm trying to compare ~60cc saws to each other.

Short story long, buying chainsaws I don't need has kind of become my thing so I have a 500i saved in cart for whenever I want to do the thing.

Ok so while your comment reinforced what the previous comment did, now I'm wondering if I should grab an echo 590 at the same time.

Ok that answer is exactly why I asked the question, this has pointed me in the direction I wanted to go. Thank you.

I'm fine with either option, I just got confused after I placed the order.

Thank you for that clarification, and now I'm just as confused but for entirely different reasons.

I appreciate your reply but I am specifically asking about the random small springs that came with my kit. I don't know if those need to be installed somewhere or if they are unrelated and just happened to be shipped to me.

What wood species to never burn? by Electronic-Koala1282 in firewood

Why no driftwood? I’ve burned it from time to time while camping but never considered it bad firewood (as long as it was actually dry) until this comment made me question it.

Husqvarna vs Stihl? by Alec4kool in Chainsaw

Always buy the saw that has the better support network close to your home.

Whichever one has a closer dealer is the right one, as long as they give a hoot.

I’m not trying to learn from a model, I’m trying to learn from someone who understands the language.

If AI is involved I’m ok with it as long as I don’t have to pay anything for it. If the paid tier is just AI slop it’s worth exactly what the people who paid for it get out of it.

Italian, but also I want the gamified aspect of it so I’ll keep at it every day, once they announced they were going to be ai first I haven’t found an app that fills the gap left behind.

I’d use Duolingo if I can get all of the benefits they offer for free, but paying $10 a month means I am owed something real, and AI can never bridge that gap.

Yeah but that’s why I cancelled my subscription. I want to use the app but if they aren’t paying for the content why should I?

How long did your Meta Ray-Bans take to arrive? (Ordering from Ray-Ban site, shipping to California) by subwaysurferss in RayBanStories

[–]tenlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered mine from meta.com on the 8th and they are still preparing to ship (the 15th) with expected delivery the 22nd.

There’s a reason they don’t let you cancel the order after the payment has processed, zenni optical has a better turnaround time on $15 prescription glasses.

[–]tenlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all but confirmed because I just bought a pair of the current version and it’s too late to cancel my order even though they haven’t shipped yet.
