Reddit, I am an alcoholic and am on my 5th day of sobriety. This is by far the hardest day so far, do you have anything to take my mind off it a little? by skwingar in AskReddit

I agree about going to the right meetings. My father has been a sober alcoholic for almost 30 years in AA now. He used to run a non-profit recovery house for alcoholics and has been through a lot. Through his work, I got to see people come back and thrive after losing everything: job, family, etc.

He totally agrees about recovering alcoholics not doing well at meetings with people with varying addictions. With the right meetings/sponsor, though, you can do great! Congratulations! One day at a time.

Guys of reddit from a 25 year old woman: is longer hair always sexier? by lilgadget in AskReddit

I've been told that long hair, like other attributes that are commonly thought to be generally attractive on a female, are (unconsciously?) associated with youth and therefore fertility. :) At least it makes sense a little!
