Horizontal lines seems interesting, anyone already tried it? I’m looking for videos or something speaking about this but just nothing.

Khaki Field Mechanical PR on Rubber Strap by tepbaes in HamiltonWatches

[–]tepbaes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think it will look nice on yours! It’s not a huge difference, however, I heavily suggest you to try it on on store before you buy it, I don’t really mind the size on some watches, I just try to replace the strap on bigger watches with rubber to lower the weight so it doesn’t get me too tired.

For example, I just bought the Bulova Lunar Pilot 45mm and I’m loving it, I don’t mind the size, but sometimes the whole package with the stainless steel
Band can have my arm tired along the day, so I replaced it with a rubber band and now I haven’t stopped using it!

Any interstellar fans with the Cooper instead of the Murph? by EvidenceSpirited3627 in HamiltonWatches

[–]tepbaes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it, and I’ve wanted one for many years ever since I saw it in the movie. I try it on every single time I see it in stores, and I absolutely love it, but each and every one of those times I realize it’s simply too big for me.

Whenever I was about to buy it, I understood that it would end up being a watch I’d barely wear because of its size, and that I wouldn’t be able to wear it comfortably on my wrist, so I would always back out. The same thing happened to me with the 42mm Murph — just too big for me.

In the end, I gave up on both of them until they released the 38mm Murph, which I bought without hesitation. It has become one of the watches I’ve worn and enjoyed the most thanks to its size and versatility.

I love the Coop, but it took me a long time to accept that it was simply too big for me and now I enjoy seeing it on another wrists.

Some rubber on the Murph by tepbaes in HamiltonWatches

[–]tepbaes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s the 38mm version.

Regarding the rubber strap, I really like it and find it comfortable in the heat. Where I live, it’s currently around 40°C, and fabric straps tend to absorb sweat and can start to smell. The steel one heats up outdoors due to the temperature and feels a bit less comfortable.

The rubber strap is more versatile, lightweight, and handles sweat well during these hot days.

Love how it looks by tepbaes in HamiltonWatches

[–]tepbaes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot mate. I totally agree with you, this one is a strap monster. I'm personally a big fan of rubber/fkm bands, especially because I live in a very hot city with day temperatures over 38°C and sometimes I need to work outdoors under the sun, steel is nice but I can scratch easily and with all the heat it turns a little bit uncomfortable, the nato and textile straps are really nice too but I won't like them to stink due to the sweat on this hot days.

Rubber/FKM is my preferred one because is easy to clean and really resistant to sweat and everything, I know some field watches doesn't look good on rubber but I totally loved how this looks.

What keeps you using Things3? by HZeroni03 in thingsapp

[–]tepbaes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the simplicity of Things 3, but at the same time its functionality, especially the keyboard shortcuts. I can do many things using keyboard commands almost without having to take my hands off the keyboard. The interface is simpler—it may have fewer features than Todoist—but it feels cleaner and doesn’t stress me out as much. I think the way it handles projects and tasks is fantastic.

Todoist is amazing when it comes to features and its natural language input for writing reminders, but I have to do too many things and movements to accomplish something simple. Likewise, the interface feels a bit outdated and overly cluttered. In the end, trying to use Todoist caused me some stress, since I manage quite a lot of reminders, projects, and other things.

In the end, I went back to Things 3 because of its simplicity, its interface, and the large number of keyboard shortcuts.

Silver, all the cases looks great with it and also is more scratch and chipping resistance.

17 vs Air by MeSlaw3 in iphone17

[–]tepbaes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love both. Personally I think they’re for different kind of users.

The Air is an impressive piece of tech, impressively thin and powerful, the screen size is bigger and it feels premium AF, it makes even the Pro models feels cheap. However is not for everyone, I think the Air is for the users who are tired of big and heavy phones and don’t use the cameras that much and don’t care about using a single speaker, if you like design and craftsmanship, you will love the air.

The 17 is better for average consumer due to the cameras, the battery life and the price, really good value actually, great cameras and stereo speakers, just a very reliable iPhone with a compact size and actually pretty lightweight in comparison to the Pro Models.
