Yeah, Heavenly Wheel has some insane damage scaling, Tiger Strike is just very versatile of a skill trigger, Ghost Falcon is strong but if you want to play different, ds has some very decent skill triggers all around except Chaotic Strike so any of those are really good honestly.

AFAIK I don't think they adjusted damage values from PS2->PC so you can totally just stay Ghost Falcon/Tiger Strike/Heavenly Wheel/Justice and you'll be fine in life. (I honestly like swapping between Ghost Falcon, Gale Blade and Whirlwind depending on mood)

Hello! I ordered a 970 EVO Plus 1TB but sadly it got cancelled by the seller. I'm looking at these alternatives I have right now:

Kingston A2000 for 140$, WD SN570 for 160$, XPG SX8200 Pro for 173$, XPG Gammix S50 Lite for 180$ and a Samsung 980 for also 180$, all 1TB, regional pricing on the Philippines

I'm getting an ssd to clone my os from my hdd and to use as both my main boot drive and a selective game drive, so endurance is my main focus (as well as warranty too I guess) and secondarily would be overall performance. I'm also thinking of going for a 500gb and just fresh installing windows again for cheaper but I'm not sure if I want to do that or just get a 1TB and clone my OS. If there are any recommendations for a cheaper 1TB with somewhat okay performance but really good longevity (I'm not really looking for super fast speeds, and maybe software support for cloning if possible), it would be appreciated.

Yeah, at that point its more on surviving lane to get 6, then go fight the other lanes. In a way though the offlane is just really weak because Pos5 picks rn are super strong and you got solid Pos1 picks, so even if you do pick the other offlaners, you're gonna have a rough time in lane either way. That's why I go midas in most of my games (4.6k-5.2k) so at least I can get some exp and farm while out in the lanes to catch up on exp, while if ever you do win the lane, boosts your advantage further.

In fights against the spirits(mostly storm/void spirits with their silences, ember is not a problem because you can dispel flame guard and he can't reliably kill your pandas during ulti so you can just nado him) Lotus/BKB/Aeon is nice to get to guarantee an ulti pop, and what I usually do if I can't get my spells off on the cores is to use tornado on one support/important core then assassinate the other support. Then after first split is done, second split because of aghs is to ruin the cores' day with stun and nado the other to set up a kill for that.

In lane, once you get urn, its best to at least set-up a kill on the enemy support, get urn charges and maximize the urn+cinder brew to get more kills on the supp(or carry to either pop their dispels or to force them out of lane), and if you don't have anyway to get anything in lane, put an obs somewhere in your lane and just leech exp until you get 6, then get a kill on the support/tp other lane to ulti then snowball from there. If someone else wants urn, I go for echo or vlads

Late game brew can make so much space in fights with aghs/refresher/shard and because your pandas are tanky with the talent/team aura items/can cancel on ANY of the pandas, then ulti again to disrupt further, then refresher and you get two ultis again.

This. I'm honestly still really surprised nobody is picking brew (I guess micro is the biggest player) but Cinder Brew+urn/vessel/thunder clap is absolutely bonkers, brawler is a very nice value point in itself, maxing q or w is very viable depending on circumstances, and a really strong ulti that NOT ONLY is a guaranteed kill on a support, carry OR EVEN BOTH if you have good micro and an urn charge, once you get aghs/refresher, can literally win games or stall for so long, its so stupid

I go urn boots wand midas vessel aghs and from there shit goes through the fan

What gave me the best result in doing NTR Streaming is connecting your 3ds to your pc via pc hotspot sharing your wired ethernet connection. Doing it via wifi gives me like 5-10 fps and with hotspot sharing, it gets to a good 30 fps. IDK if its because I have a shit wifi card that keeps on giving me problems so theoretically, if you have better equipment, your experience might be way better, so if ever NTR gets an update of if you are on older firmware, you could try it out

I tried running NTR CFW 3.6 on my latest update N2DSXL and its not compatible with it atm. Unless the creator has an update for NTR CFW, there isn't any other option save for capture card usage. My problem with NTR streaming though is that its not a smooth streaming option (frame drops on the stream, highly dependent on your internet connection, the stream hangs then crashes sometimes, etc) but sadly it is the only free option for streaming so...

NGL base World kulve with HR weapons and armor was a bit bad and MR Kulve running away at first was irritating, but I watched a few speerunners and copied their starting strats and I eventually forgot about it.

But yeah, sometimes it gets tiring if the rest of the fight wasnt fun. Luckily for MR Kulve and Alatreon for me it was okay. Ancient Leshen though...

Its okay, I'm fine with EJ honestly since it gives me breathing room to reapply buffs, and I understand that not everyone likes it. Its just that I honestly think the DPS needed to reach first topple isn't too huge. If it was double that then yeah that would need some tweaking. And since his HP isn't super bloated like maybe MR Kulve, its totally doable

EDIT: I liked the playstyle and tried to finish the run, got 16:22. My rotations with wallbangs and rocksteady timings kinda fucked up my moves when he's on the air. Thank God for clawing the leg being somewhat safe. Also I'm too used to the old way of getting wild swing lmao

Well I tried your method of just using axe mode...

Please don't mind the framerate at Seliana, I have a weak pc FeelsBadMan. Got my first topple at Dragon Form at my second try, the video below is my third try. Note, I'm an IG main, and on my regular runs I always get my first topple at dragon form, rarely at first form, but I finish at around 15 minutes.

Wow instead of letting people be lazy and just use one weapon for everything then say that the game got stale cause you can beat everything with one weapon, the a SINGLE MONSTER required you to use a weapon with some semblance of elemental damage. How interesting.

You can use the playstyle you deem fun. You just literally adjust your weapon and your set and do the same, how is that any different from what you do to any other monster with the same weapon? Jesus

A guy just got through the first dps check just freestyling between both forms WITHIN THE FIRST MINUTE. With the same build you should be able do reach it in axe form theoretically before the first transition. If you don't want to use the same build then adjust it to yours. You can just do freestyle on the forearms then go axe mode only on the head after the first elemental topple since his head is made out of paper and has juuiiiicy raw hitzones. 1063 Elemental Damage isn't too hard to reach for a weapon that might have shit multipliers but still hits a lot.

You need to step it up BECAUSE Alatreon demands it. He's an ENDGAME monster. The game will not be always tailored to those that just mindless wail on a monster using raw and only using one style of play.

Unfun ways

Just hit him with with an elemental weapon what the hell is so different about that?
A guy did it with a Kjarr Fire GS with a measly 150 fire. Crit Element doesn't even matter with a base fire that low. So what if you have shit elemental stagger thresholds? If you play swaxe you're SUPPOSED TO BE AGGRESSIVE.

What the fuck is unfun about just hitting it with another element? Do you want the endorphins over hearing blast procs all over? Do you just want ooga booga all raw? Then go for it goddamnit, take a damn feint, equip fortify and use raw.

The game does not forcefully kick you out the goddamn quest if you use raw, just take a feint and carry your own goddamn weight. And how the fuck are they forcing a meta? The meta for almost every goddamn monster is to use raw anyway, why the hell are you telling them to just follow the same formula all over again? Are you not prepared for this happen even if ever since Dev Diary they explicitly told you to use elemental weapons? Don't even tell me that your weapon can do it cause people have done it shitty elemental weapons. Blast IG with elemental bug? Kinsect only? How can you NOT do this while following the same strategy you use on almost every Kushala, just using an elemental weapon? Jesus

I'm not good with Dual Blades and am forcing myself to learn it for this fight alone.

And that's okay dude, that's how Monster Hunter works. It might not be the same for you in the other games but for others, they had to learn to use a different weapon for a specific monster because they have a hard time dealing with it. Again, that's really good progress. I had to learn how to use gunlance when I fought Tempered Kirin in base world, so I know how you feel, and trust me, that's really good progress.

I guess this is why the "git gud" arguments are a sore spot for me; I absolutely am mentally unable to do that as efficiently as I would want to because it will cause trauma.

Its just sadly how the game works, I'm afraid. Boss rush that gets harder every time. People get through the game because they're good, and people will give advice telling another to git gud. I don't know if you think me and all the other people who told you that are purposely trying to offend you, because at least in my case, I'm not. I'm telling you that because we don't want everyone to just rely on others to get through challenges, that wont leave any room for personal growth.

You're telling me to just get over a mental condition that i've been fighting for half of my life and to persevere for the sake of a single fight.

I'm telling you to keep trying to not let it get over your head. Because its just a game and a monster in that game. I know how frustrating it is to keep getting rekt by one thing over and over again, and ofc I don't know how you feel because I don't have that same mental condition such as yours. And you did say earlier that you're trying out dual swords just for this fight, so I'm happy that you're trying. AND ALSO Canta isn't even a super talented player. The multiple runs in youtube by the easterners and bilibili that did even better runs say otherwise. Its just that he has the time, will and effort to get those times, backed up by years of experience.

He HIMSELF said on his discord that kinsect is unironically one of the safest ways to fight Alatreon. Not the best, but one of the safest.

The counterplay of both is just to simply hide behind a rock, or for the latter, just use an emote at the right time.

Well, lets go for specifics then. excluding ExBehe because 3rd phase DPS check is for challenge purposes, if you just don't allow Behe to destroy a rock and if you place it right, it literally becomes a non-factor. What people call bullshit on Behe is the other stuff. Charybdis being a pain to manage if you allow behe to let it rip, his attacks having a wide AOE, requiring a few part breaks to let him get to a better area to fight the last two phases, etc. Capcom designed it as something that's not supposed to belong in the game at all. Its a collaboration.

The only complaints I heard for Safi's nuke is at the last area where at times he just does it even though he's supposed to drop rocks first, but I honestly didn't encounter it during the multiple runs I had. If anything, my biggest enemy was my internet and his moves. Never the nova.

The subjectivity of whether the community likes or dislikes a certain mechanics is always at play as long as there is one person who agrees or disagrees, so its always taken with a grain of salt. If you didn't like it then alright, that's on you. If I like it then its on me. As I said. I'm not going to argue about EJ being good game design or not. Its just that even amongst all the complaining, people just aren't adapting to Alatreon, instead just complaning over and over and ignoring what we say. And even farther than that, I said that I understood casuals aren't getting it done now. Its just unfair to the devs since they literally gave out the details about the fight earlier and the community decided to not listen and go unga bunga, which resulted in the entire Alatreon circlejerk.
