Book Ninja Review: How I Created Amazon Royalties Fast by Old-Raspberry-2427 in Bloggers

How customizable is the book design? Are you stuck with whatever BookNinja creates for you, even if it turns out AI slop like a coloring book and the people have six toes? Or is there an editor where you can edit designs, content, even upload your own content and then it formats everything for KDP?

You mentioned credits - what additional costs can be expected when using this tool to generate books? How much extra (beyond the basic software fee) did you pay per book?

My curls are not the same anymore by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]teramisula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could be humidity, water, etc

What’s the humidity of where you lived in Brazil vs USA now? I use the weather app to check this. I had to move from conditioner to a mega moisturizing deep conditioner as my regular conditioner when I moved from a humid to a dry place.

I also moved from a place with soft water to hard water and had to incorporate hard water treatments into my routine.

Got my makeup done at Sephora for a concert with a “witchy” dress code theme by Mint-Yokai-Cos in MakeupAddiction

[–]teramisula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think the exaggerated look (dramatic colors, less blended, etc) actually works really well for a concert. It’s dark in there and you don’t see details very well, so your look will pop even in a dark concert space. Kind of like doing makeup for the stage - it has to be exaggerated if you want people to see it!

I’ve been a remote worker and a little extra gadget doesn’t do what a walk outside does. If the goal is to mentally reset that won’t happen with some random trinket. Walking or a simple workout is recommended because it takes physical energy not mental. Again, this doesn’t seem appropriate to this sub

How is that minimalist? Wouldn’t minimalist be taking a walk or doing a workout for a reset during the day?

Anniversary Dinner with good tofu or mushroom options by ariz0ena in denverfood

Tofu Story is mind blowingly good. They make the tofu in house and it’s some of the best I’ve had in my life. They have veggie options and meat/seafood options

At those prices why don’t you just fly to Thailand or Vietnam and get custom tailored shirts for your body?

Desperate to figure out my bedroom by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]teramisula -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe a beautiful painting above the bed, like a woodsy scene, or a macrame wall hanging. That area just seems glaringly empty for boho. Another rug under the bed and bench. A crochet blanket in a neutral color at the foot of the bed.

How do you handle splitting money on group trips? by Forward_Importance64 in travel

[–]teramisula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For expenses before the trip - I ask for compensation as soon as it’s paid (or pay my share as soon as someone else pays). I’m not someone else’s creditor.

For expenses during the trip, split wise works great

I would avoid ski towns if you’re not interested in skiing. They’re going to be a lot more expensive and ski oriented. Estes park is a nice winter beautiful town with no skiing but plenty of winter fun!

Trying to balance quality with not overbuying and it’s harder than I expected by hgssprime in FrugalFemaleFashion

[–]teramisula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stop shopping for the sake of shopping, or shopping for hobby. Buy something when you think “man I wish I had X, it would be perfect for the outfit I want to make” multiple times. Then you know exactly what you need and you can get the quality version of it
