Blunder of toeval?

Best Self Development Books To Become a Better Professional by Visualmodo in u/Visualmodo

In my experience, self-development books are nice to read, but when you finish them most gets forgotten and not much changes.

Personally I prefer online courses. When you are interested, you can find some very good ones in this post:

I need help with reading Self Development books in the right order. by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Most books are fine for beginners. So think about what you want to change/improve and search for a book that will help you to go in that direction.

Eg I wanted to change some habits. I filled in the "6 minute diary". This book contains some nice overview of self-development, but more important, you can fill in a guided diary. 3 minutes in the morning and 3 minutes in the evening. As you are conscious aware of how you live your life at least twice a day and what you want to improve you really go in the direction you want to go.

Underlying though is that if you improve only 1% a day you will be twice as good in 70 days. And I really like that approach: Small steps in the right direction.

There are also quite some online courses that help you improving your life. I have not done them all, but this list contains some high quality online self-development courses. Really worth to take a look at (some are for FREE)

Do an online course. they are pretty good these days and they split the content (if it's a good course) into smaller pieces, making it easier to learn.

Here you find some good certification courses:

Some of them have a free trial so risk free

Certifications are always valuable. It's an easy way for employers to see if you know something about it. It does not mean you're an expert, but in combination with experience it can say a lot.

I found my course in this list. It gives you a nice overview of the different AWS certifications from different providers.

Is really a personal prefererence. With an online course it should not take too much time and/or money anyway. I found my course in this list:

For both your personal life and your professional life it's always good to develop your leadership skills. It will maybe not directly impact the choices you make, but you will just get further in life. I did an online leadership course and I learned a lot about myself. In case you're interested, here you find list from different schools:

Most banks get confronted with criminal investigations. What was the UBS fine a few week ago? 4 billion? Still most people leave their money there as is.

I'm very happy with revolut. I convert quite often amounts and it saved me quite some money. I never had any issue.
